Price per Person - $15/pax Rating - 4/5 If you have a chance, you die die must try Elijah Pies Cafe, which had recently opened at Tanjong Pagar plaza. This delicious humble pie shop is a local cafe, which serve Pies of all sorts, from sweet to savoury ones, and you have so many to choose from. It's a small cafe but one that is cozy and gives you the feeling of home. From their menu, you can choose from flavours such as their raspberry Riple pie, yuzu meringue, nutella, and localized flavours such as milo pie, honey chrysanthemum and pandan coconut, etc. I must say their pies are extremely yummy with a buttery crumbly pie crust and they are not too sweet. My favourite was their nutella pie which was very chocolatey and rich. Order a cup of coffee or tea to go along with the pies, and it's a perfect pairing. I suggest coming early if you would like to try a slice of Elijah pies as seatings are limited but service is excellent and so are their pies, so give it a try today!

Price per Person - $20/pax Rating - 5/5 Located on the 2nd floor of Tanjong Pagar Plaza is a small but famous Japanese patisserie called Chef Yamashita. This bakery brings delightful and delicious cakes that are light, airy, creamy and not too sweet. Every mouthful of their cakes and cookies is just heavenly. Their strawberry shortcake ($8.20) is a popular choice. Fresh cream and sweet strawberries are what you get in this lovely cake. Their japanese chiffon cake ($10) is perfect for tea break and their no.1 seller Mille Feuille is a must get with buttery pastry in between the layers of cream. Yums! You will love it too! Biscuits and cookies can be found here too, and you can have an afterrnoon tea set with cake, if you're keen to dine there.

#travelanywhere Outside the street at the tanjong pagar plaza, you can find a stretch of older buildings which have a rich history. Not everyone is the same in terms of the design and the colour. There are restaurants and beauty parlours there which provide services to the customer. The place is narrow and you would have to watch out for cars coming. It is like walking into the 80s of the Singapore street where most of the places were low storey buildings. It is like a cultural walk to find out more about their architecture of the street there.

#travelanywhere The wall art at the tanjong pagar plaza is very beautiful. It greatly beautifies the place very much. you will feel as if you are entering the beach under the humid weather. Whenever we visit overseas, such as the Penang island, we will always check out their wall arts along the street there. We will definitely take some Instagrammable images and share them with our friends and family members . We like those creative wall arts with vibrant colours and cute designs too .

#travelanywhere The open spaced playground located at the level three of the tanjong pagar plaza is a great place to visit. There are many huge pots of ornamental plants there. There is also a playground there which children can spend their time playing with their friends there. It is hard to find a place like this in Singapore. It brings us back to our Kuala Lumpur trip where we stayed at our friends apartment. They do have similar places like this and we enjoyed the place very much there. We also like Kuala Lumpur city too.

#travelanywhere The tanjong pagar plaza reminds me of the rochor area where there is a supermarket there , as well as several retail outlets around the place. There are cafes, beauty parlours, and service related shops located at the higher floor. At the lower floor are eatery corners and bakery sections . You can try out the local dish there. Their economy rice is worth trying. You can pick a few dishes with a bowl of rice or porridge. Our favorite part of our Guangzhou trip is to sit down and try out their local food .We ordered their mixed rice dishes and the portions of the vegetables were a lot. We enjoyed the food there .

#familytrips2024 Since I was young, I have always been around in this area. We will always accompany our parents to the market to buy vegetables together. Then we will have our food at the food centre there. We will also walk past the flower shop to take a look at those beautiful blooming flowers. We had lots of great memories there. For our dream destination, we would like to fly to the manila city for our future family trip. We would like to try out their local dishes there , and to shop at their shopping streets and shopping malls too.

#familytrips2024 I used to visit this place a lot of times when I was young .I like the neighbourhood here. You have a lot of choices to choose from in terms of dining options. There are many economical foods to choose from. You can buy a few of them and share them together with your family. Our dream destination for our family trips is to visit the Johor area. We will like to venture into Melaka, and try out their local deserts and their local food there . We would like to buy back their local snacks and share them with our friends too.

Price per Person - $5/pax Rating - 5/5 This 10 Cent pancake has recently gone viral and nope the pancake doesn't cost 10 cents but it's shaped like a Singapore 10 Cent coin. Where to find this snack? This pancake shop can be found on the 1st floor of Tanjong pagar Plaza and each pancake is at $5 each. Unfortunately, there's only 1 flavour available and it's cheese but inside each pancake, it's stuffed with melted stretchy mozzarella cheese. Super yummy! The pancake is made to order and served warm. You can order coffee and enjoy your snack at a small seating corner inside the shop.

You may think Woobbee sounds like a bee farm or a place that sells honey but no, there are no bees at Woobbee. It is actually a popular drinks or bubble tea stall located on the 1st floor of tanjong pagar plaza. It's My friend who recommended this shop and I know I got to try it. I ordered their herbal mint green tea with herbal jelly which has pi pa Gao in it, and it was so soothing to the throat with a minty herbal flavour. The other drink I got was their guava plum green tea and it was so refreshing with crunchy bits of aloe Vera and real plums in it. Other hot favourites at the Woobbee would be their taro milk tea, yakult grapefruit, double chocolate milk tea and many more. This shop has a steady queue of people buying their drinks and I would definitely recommend woobbee, if you are looking to grab a cool drink for an ultra hot day. #tripblazers #foodie
