Eternal Memory - Tangshan Earthquake Memorial Park.
Tangshan Earthquake Memorial Park is located in Lunan District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It is the world's first earthquake site park with the theme of "commemoration".
The park design fully embodies the concept of "awe of nature, care for life, exploration of science, and remembrance of history". The original railway track of Tangshan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Plant is used as the vertical axis, and the memorial avenue is used as the horizontal axis. The park is divided into earthquake site area, memorial water area, memorial forest area, memorial square, and other areas. In front of the square is a memorial pool, and the theme sculpture in the pool uses realistic sculpture language to show the vivid scene of the people of Tangshan standing together through thick and thin in the face of disaster. The memorial wall for the victims of the earthquake consists of 5 groups of 13 walls, engraved with the names of 240,000 compatriots who died in the Tangshan earthquake in 1976, so that people will always remember July 28, 1976, a day of grief for the people of Tangshan.
In June 2011, Tangshan Earthquake Memorial Park was included in the list of "National Red Tourism Classic Scenic Spots"; in July 2011, it was awarded the title of "National Demonstration Base for Popular Science Education on Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction" by the China Earthquake Administration.

This opened the most mournful page in the history of the world's earthquakes for more than 400 years.
Today, although it is difficult to find traces of the earthquake in Tangshan, the years can not erase the unforgettable pain in the hearts of the witnesses. The city is in love, enter the Tangshan Earthquake Memorial Park, feel the destruction and rebirth of a city, and pin the feelings of the unfinished
