During the day, Tangyuan has various Tang-style buildings, large swathes of verbena flower seas, jacaranda.
At night, Tangyuan is brilliantly lit,
Making people feel like they have traveled back to the Everlasting Night City of the Tang Dynasty.

Where you can see the Mecha Shadow Show, Flower Fairy Outing, and a series of activities.
It's simply a double feast for the eyes and culture.

May Day 3-Day Tour in Xichang
May Day holiday is coming soon, and for those who don't have much time and want to relax, a 3-day trip to Xichang, the Moon City, is a good choice. D1: Take a high-speed train or drive to Xichang, you can arrive by the afternoon and check in at Hangtian North Road to see the Jacaranda trees. Before evening, head to Jianchang Ancient City (which has over 600 years of history with exquisite Ming and Qing architecture, and is even more beautiful at night). If time permits, you can also visit Tang Garden (Tang Dynasty-style architecture). Stay overnight by Qionghai Lake or in Dashiban Ancient Village, where there are many homestays suitable for photography. D2: Qionghai Wetland Park, you can watch the sunrise by the lake in the Moonlight Town on the west side in the morning, and enjoy the sunset at Moon Bay and Jinlin Beach on the east side in the evening, both are very beautiful. During the day, you can take photos in Dashiban Ancient Village, where Yi and other ethnic costumes are available for rent, especially taking photos against the orange-yellow walls around Lingying Temple is particularly impressive. D3: You can climb Qiong Mountain or cycle or walk in Qionghai Wetland Park before heading back. Must-try foods in Xichang include fire pot barbecue, rice noodles, etc., with a variety of dining options in the old town area, Xiaoyu Village, and Wanda Plaza. Night tour of the Tang Dynasty that never sleeps
Thousand-search Tang traces: Dream back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty here
Type of play: Peripheral tour
I've heard long ago that there's a 'Tang Dynasty that never sleeps' in Xichang, and finally came here at the beginning of the New Year. In the bustling urban life, there is such a charming ancient city hidden, every brick and tile, every street and alley here seems to be telling the time a thousand years ago.
It must be more feeling to wear Hanfu here, you can rent in the park, choose a favorite dress our Tang Dynasty tour begins. Walking in the Tang Garden, no matter where you are, you can always see the high tower, which guides our direction. The merchants on both sides of the road add a touch of worldly fireworks to the Tang Garden, which is the scene of the Tang Dynasty.
When night falls, the lights are on and it's a different Tang Dynasty night scene. Why not stay here, live in the Thousand-search Tang traces Shuxiang Shijia Hotel and feel the day of the Tang Dynasty.

Strolling in Tang Garden in the early morning
Spending winter in Xichang, enjoying the daily winter sunshine. After breakfast today, I walked in the Tang Garden in the warm sunshine, browsing the "Tang Garden" that was just built last year. Although it is a man-made park landscape, it is also the predecessor of ancient Xichang, which can be considered as a reproduction of the glorious landscape of the past. However, the current construction of Xichang should be the best time here. Although it is one of the "three states" of Sichuan, it is no longer a symbol of backwardness. Xichang City is a national forest city, a national health city, an excellent tourist city in China, one of the five most beautiful health habitats in China, a top 100 county with comprehensive strength, and a top 100 county and city with new urbanization quality. Xichang's climate belongs to the tropical plateau monsoon climate zone, with abundant light and heat resources, warm in winter and cool in summer, spring in all seasons; it is known as the moon city, sun city, space city, and small spring city, and is a city where spring resides.
Strolling in Tang Garden, walking on the small road paved with bluestone slabs, walking between pavilions, towers and Tang towers, strolling between small bridges and streams and green trees and lawns, and casually shooting a set of Tang Garden scenery in the morning light.

Dreaming Back to the Tang Dynasty - Xichang Tang Garden
The history of Xichang can be traced back to the Western Han Dynasty, and by the Kaiyuan era of the Tang Dynasty, Xichang, known as Xiuzhou, had become a prosperous city. The scale of Xiuzhou City was several times larger than that of the ancient city of Jianchang in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which can be described as the peak period of the development of ancient Xichang city.
As time flies, the ancient city of Xiuzhou, once prosperous, has vanished with the end of the Tang Dynasty, leaving only a section of the ancient city wall preserving the memory of the Tang Dynasty more than 1300 years ago. In 2016, in order to commemorate the once prosperous era, Xichang invested in the construction of Tang Garden, which officially opened on the eve of the National Day in 2022.
The scale of Xichang Tang Garden is not small, covering about 200 acres, and the overall shape is rectangular. With the culture of the Tang Dynasty and the style of the Southern Silk Road as the main themes, it adopts the garden form and architectural style of the Tang Dynasty to create a cultural tourism garden full of Tang Dynasty style.
Entering the Tang Garden is like opening a 'dream'. Walking deep in the garden, climbing the solemn Tang-style buildings, at night, the lights are lit, creating a magnificent scene of light and shadow. The main buildings, Jianchang Tower and Xiuzhou Pavilion, can be described as the finest works of imitation ancient architecture in recent years, not only with a solemn and grand appearance, but also with meticulous attention to detail.
Tang Garden is not far from Jianchang Ancient City, and the two historical and cultural attractions can be arranged to be visited on the same day.
