We mainly came for the night illumination. This isn't Disneyland, but we had a lot of fun on the rides. We went on a weekday, so there were no lines at all! The rides here are more basic compared to other famous parks in Japan. The surrounding food stalls and restaurants offer delicious options, and the vending machines are well-stocked with drinks. But by 6 PM, it suddenly got crowded! I guess it's because of the night illumination. The park turned into a massive light show. Almost every inch of the park was adorned with colorful lights! It was so beautiful! We really enjoyed our time here! It's definitely worth spending time during the night illumination. My best guess is about 10 million light bulbs. Getting there is quite easy; you can take the Keio Line from Shinjuku to Keio Yomiuriland Station, and even the train station has a light show! Don't miss the cable car ride, which costs around 500 yen round trip, and offers a bird's-eye view of the night illumination from above.

They often offer free samples for some of the products sold here, and the prices are completely reasonable. If you are on your way from the Daishi temple, then I believe you will likely be passing through here, so I would suggest to not try avoiding this place. The shop staff is friendly and doesn't excessively bother any tourists from what I have seen, and you may get to experience some new food you have not had a chance to taste before. This time I will introduce "Dormy Inn Kawasaki" in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is about a 10-minute walk from Kawasaki Station. It was right next to the shopping street, so I had no trouble finding dinner. [Room (Superior Queen Room)] This time I stayed in the "Superior Queen Room". As with other Dormy Inns, the hotel provided indoor wear. It's convenient because you can wear indoor wear to the large bath, breakfast, and dinner venue like in a ryokan♪ There was also complimentary jelly in the refrigerator. [Large Bath] The large bath was on the top floor. There was an outdoor stall in the indoor bath, a sauna with a TV, and a cold bath. After the bath, I was given complimentary ice cream. The post-bath service was ice cream in the afternoon and a lactic acid drink in the morning. There was also a rest area and a manga floor just outside the large bath. [Breakfast] Breakfast was a buffet. Each Dormy Inn hotel has its own unique dishes, but at Kawasaki it was a seafood bowl. I love Dormy Inn and stay there often, but the Dormy Inn in Kawasaki was also really good. Soap and shampoo are assumed to be brought in by regular customers, so they are not provided.Entrance feeis 490 yen for adults, which is cheap. The sauna is also charged separately because "Isn't it necessary to charge everyone who doesn't enter?" There is a charge of 20 yen for using the hair dryer. A very reasonable price setting that only those who need it should pay. The hot water is not boiled water, but a real hot spring pumped from several hundred meters underground. It is not a volcanic one unique to the Kanto Plain, but is derived from ancient seawater heated by geothermal heat. Although the hot spring itself is small but given the price and experience I don’t think I shall be complaining 😂
