#Spring0yentrip Takamatsu City is the prefectural capital of Kagawa Prefecture and a beautiful city facing the Seto Inland Sea. The first thing that impressed me when I visited was Ritsurin Garden. A Japanese garden spreads across a vast area. The green reflected in the pond was particularly beautiful and soothing. Next, I visited the ruins of Takamatsu Castle. As I strolled around the castle ruins, I was able to feel the depth of history. Takamatsu is also known for its Sanuki udon noodles. I visited udon restaurants in the city and enjoyed the chewy noodles and rich soup stock. I was also touched by the warmth of the local people and realized the richness of the food culture. Takamatsu City is a city filled with a variety of attractions, including history, nature, gourmet food, and art, and every time I visited, I discovered something new.
