#MarchGoodPlaces2025 This is the first attraction after entering Hualien. It was noon and the weather was hot. Although it was close to the sea, there was not a trace of wind. Although I travel to Hualien several times a year, I haven't been here for a long time and it looks a little different than before. There used to be a night market in the evening, but it has now moved to the Dongda Night Market. There are still some construction projects going on in the park. There is a boat-shaped children's play area in the park, which seems to have been just built. Some of the game equipment is still wrapped with protective molds, but when the children saw these play equipment, they rushed over without saying a word. Maybe it was because of the hot weather that we stopped playing on the amusement equipment after a while. There are also some art installations in the park that look pretty good in the photos. The kids kept complaining about being hot and wanted to go back to the car to enjoy some air conditioning. We stayed here for about half an hour, took some photos, and then headed to the next attraction.

It's been a while since I last posted because I've been busy with administrative work for my guesthouse in Hualien after the Dragon Boat Festival🎋. Since the festival, the Pacific Park has been blessed with sunny skies every day🏖️🌅. From my guesthouse, it's just a short ten-minute walk🏃 to the beach. This season, right after the festival, is considered the off-season, so the beach is quiet and peaceful with fewer visitors. Even a year after the earthquake, Hualien's tourism and business flow are still worse than during the pandemic🤣. To make matters worse, there were two days of disrupted transportation recently🌋. It seems visiting Hualien requires a bit of faith✨. After the Dragon Boat Festival, guests often ask about the weather🏖️🌤️🌞 and transportation🚘🚂. Fortunately, there hasn't been much rain🌧️✖️ lately, and the mornings until noon have been consistently beautiful🌅. A little confidence boost is definitely needed🤜🤛. #2024Travel Review By chance, a friend told me that Hualien's Pacific Park is very unique. I took the Taiwan Railway Ziqiang Express to visit it during my vacation. It is a long and narrow coastline. The park is divided into the South Coast and the North Coast. Both have different venues for activities. There are locals and tourists during the day and evening. Especially on holidays, there are many art performances and markets, which are very lively and a good place to travel. By the way, we also went to the Starbucks container house, had a cup of coffee, enjoyed the atmosphere, and bought some Hualien specialties on the way back. It was a happy day trip.
