Location: Taining County Dajin Lake World Geopark. Tickets: Online tickets are CNY 160. Opening hours: 8:00 am–2:30 pm Transportation: Drive to the scenic area parking lot, then take the scenic area shuttle bus to the Jinhu Wharf to board the scenic area shuttle bus for free. Tour time: About 3.5 hours (half the time during National Day is spent in line). It is said that during the National Day holiday, according to the needs of the scenic area, the cruise ship is used as a bus tour, and the ship departs when it is full. Usually, there is a fixed shuttle time. The Dajin Lake tour method is quite special: take a boat to see the lake and three landing spots. ① Wild Garden From the departure point, line up to take a boat to the Wild Garden. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. The so-called waterfall is too small, and there is not much water, which is not enough to see. The attractions inside are also very small, and the face-changing acrobatics are average, especially since I have been to the Qinglong Waterfall in Yongtai. ② Ganlu Rock Temple Wild Garden Wharf, line up to take a boat to Ganlu Rock Temple Wharf. Ganlu Rock Temple is ancient and worth a visit. Hidden among the Danxia peaks of Dajin Lake in Taining County. The cave is narrow inside and wide outside, in an inverted triangle shape. The left and right corners have dragon and phoenix-shaped stalactites, which drip water all year round, sweet and refreshing, similar to nectar, hence the name "Ganlu Rock." The red mountains and blue waters are beautiful, ancient, and you can feel a different kind of tranquility and mystery. ③ Land Oblique Line Sky Dajin Lake contains the unique natural wonders of the water and land line sky. In terms of geological structure, this land oblique line sky is controlled by a set of complex joints, which are tensile and inclined small faults, and are eroded by water for many years to form oblique rock gaps, creating a unique "oblique line sky" wonder. The steepest place can only be climbed up by bending over. The overall difficulty is not high, there are steps, but it is relatively dark. The mountains are majestic and beautiful, and the water is clear and elegant. The combination of masculinity and femininity, boldness and gentleness complement each other. The red cliffs protrude into the lake, and the blue water penetrates deep into the mountains. The mountains and water reflect each other. The only regret is that the management seems to need improvement. Finally, when waiting for the car, there were crowds of people, and the order was a bit chaotic. Taining Dajin Lake welcomed a record number of visitors in 2024. I didn't expect us to catch this wave.

Took a cruise ship to sail around in the lake. Theres three stops throughout the journey to scale three different mountains. One mountain had a historic temple while another mountain had what the chinese called “一线天” which in english means on line of light. Its a phenomenon that happens when you are surrounded by rocks in a cave such that one line of light enters theough a crevice. The last stop was to scale a very short mountain to watch cultural performances by the locals.
