I stayed at a guesthouse called Youzai Youzai, which was very nice! It even had a smart toilet, and the underfloor heating was adjustable. 📷 I mostly used the iPhone camera. You don't need a reflector in the snow! When the weather is good, the natural reflection of the sun on the snow makes your face look very clear, and you can take great photos without even trying. OOTD Hats, scarves, earmuffs, and sunglasses are essential for the atmosphere and warmth! It can be very cold when the wind blows on snowy days! But when the sun is out, it won't be too cold. The Colorful Beach Yardang Landform is something I've heard about for a long time, but experiencing it in person is truly astonishing! I knew about wind-eroded landforms, but I never imagined they could be this magnificent. The sunlight bathes the vast land, as if gilding every inch with a golden edge. On both sides of the river, there are stones of various shapes and colors—some are deep red, some golden yellow, and others are a dazzling array of colors. They sparkle charmingly under the sunlight, like nature's treasure trove. In the distance, a surreal mist rises from the dark green forest, and with the Irtysh River as the backdrop, it creates a sense of infinite time and space interweaving, evoking a profound respect for nature in the observer.

Hemu Village is a small village situated in Kanas Nature Reserve in Altay, northern Xinjiang. It is the most remote and largest of the three habitats of the Tuvas, an ethnic group who still live a simple, ancient lifestyle by grazing animals and hunting. It has been voted by a travel magazine as one of the five most beautiful villages in China. The scenery during winter is exceptionally beautiful. The entire experience is enhanced by the beautiful rustic surroundings that are shrouded in a thick veil of white fluffy soft snow. Hemu, known as 'God's own reserve', is filled with an ancient and mysterious fairy tale charm. It is also the most comfortable place in the Altay region, at least that's how I feel.
