A delicious Korean all-you-can-eat meal
Korean barbecue is getting farther and farther away, this time it has reached Tai Po, in order to pay a pilgrimage to a Korean barbecue all-you-can-eat restaurant that my colleague who lives in Tai Po often visits, to see how good the best one in his mind is 😜
✏️Location: 7/10
✏️Environment: 9/10
✏️ Hygiene: 8/10
✏️Service: 9/10
✏️Food: 9/10
The restaurant is located in Tai Po Old Market, and it took us a while to find it since we are not locals. After entering the store, I felt it was brand new. The decoration was quite nice, the environment was spacious and open, Korean songs were playing non-stop, and the atmosphere was good. The waiters were proactive in helping and cleaning up, and were friendly. The food quality is indeed better than other Korean all-you-can-eat restaurants, and the buffet beverage selection is also quite complete🥳
🍱Jiangnan Seafood BBQ - $398/person
We chose this set menu for the seafood and unlimited drinks. Soon after ordering, the appetizers, various high-quality meats and complimentary seafood (not all-you-can-eat) will be served.
🌟Appetizer
The best quality beef that the chef considers that day is served on a cow-shaped wooden board, including the tender and smooth A4 Kuroge Wagyu shoulder blade, the fatty A4 Kuroge Wagyu tri-flank, the refreshing and fragrant Australian Wagyu Kinzan, the tender and delicious marbled Wagyu slices, the Kuroge Toyosai beef with a unique beef aroma from Tokachi, Hokkaido, the evenly fatty and fragrant marbled veal chops, the chewy and tender Australian M6 Wagyu flank, and the sweet Itaewon beef ribs marinated in Korean barbecue sauce. There is also a large piece of 14-day aged American sirloin and a large piece of fragrant and satisfying pork belly on a separate plate. The appetizer alone is quite satisfying😍
🌟Free seafood
Each person is served with a deep-sea tiger prawn, abalone and large scallop. The tiger prawns are cut in advance, so they are particularly flavorful and sweet when cooked. The abalones are quite big and are topped with minced garlic. They are smooth and delicious after being cooked. The large scallops are also added with minced garlic, the seawater taste is fragrant and sweet 🤩
🌟High quality meat
The quality of meat provided by the restaurant is generally very high. In addition to most of the meats mentioned above, you can also order aged Australian wagyu, aged wagyu topside, M7 Australian wagyu top neck, Australian wagyu tongue, boneless beef ribs and Kagoshima beef tenderloin, etc. It is not as simple as other Korean all-you-can-eat meats, and the ingredients are also much better. It is definitely worth the money 😘
🌟Other seafood
There are Atlantic capelin, small octopus, shrimp and squid. I recommend the capelin and squid, fresh is the best😃
🌟Korean cuisine
There are really many choices, including traditional stone pot rice, army Shake Shake rice, various cold noodles, fried rice cakes, noodles with soybean paste, Korean fried chicken, fried seafood cakes, soybean paste and beef fried vermicelli, etc., and the taste is generally good🥰
🌟Soup
There are five Korean soups to choose from. We only ordered beef bone snow soup and ginseng chicken soup. The big bowls are very fragrant and the ingredients are rich, far exceeding the standard of all-you-can-eat 😉
🌟Vegetables
There are not many vegetable choices, including onion rings, chicken spleen mushrooms, zucchini, fresh tomatoes and pumpkins 😁
🌟Drinks
You can pick up drinks from refrigerators 1-5. The most recommended ones are Korean brand green grape juice, pear juice, Korean beer and soju, etc. You can also drink designated draft beer 😆
🌟Ice cream
Choose from Häagen-Dazs, Dreyer's and Mövenpick for a cup of daily flavor, another perfect ending 😋
