Such is my imagination when I walked into this bookstore with such nice & big glass walls 🧱 showing us the outside world. There are a variety of books to explore here ranging from philosophy to fiction to science. And I guess it's quite a default setup in Shanghai now to pair the serene and calm places with coffee ☕ shop. So of course we indulged in some latte experience with a book in hand and enjoying the view ! Full of culture and Flavor. Historic torusit attractions to massive mountains Ermei and budhas Leshan. the city that's has much to offer around the clock for all sorts of adventure. The city metro is well structured for foreigners to commute and also ticket prices are relatively inexpensive at 2 to 3 rmb a ticket. Taxis do not scam and their meters start from 10 rmb. the city is pretty safe as there are surveillance cameras everywhere. The only thing you really need is a wechat or alipay app tp access all sorts of payments. and Google maps does not really work here. so prepare the download baidu app for map.

Exploring Shanghai | Taikoo Li Qiantan
Honestly, as a person from Puxi, I don't often come to Pudong. Even when I do, it's with a clear purpose, come and go. This time, because of the concert, I arrived early and took a stroll nearby, also to find something to eat.
Taikoo Li Qiantan is really a great place to shop. Its modern and open layout is more leisurely than most malls. It just so happens that there is also a Malaysian Food and Culture Festival event taking place in the square, adding to the buzz. You can also see the large greenery of the Dongti area nearby. It's really nice to just walk around and sit down for a drink.

I finally arrived at the other side of the Anywhere Door, Shanghai. When the weather is nice, I find Taikoo Li particularly pleasant to stroll around, with its spacious outdoor areas and many exhibitions. Recently, there was a Mercedes-Benz car exhibition, where a red sedan was displayed like a work of art, exceptionally beautiful.
There is also a uniquely chic LV giant flower, which can be seen right out of the subway. However, the entire mall is quite large, making it somewhat tiring to explore, but there are many dining options available, so you can sit down to eat something and rest when you're tired. It's very comfortable to eat outside when the weather is good.
This must be a rather high-end mall, as it houses basically all the upscale brands, such as LV, Gucci, Loewe, Cartier,
Fendi, Tiffany, and so on.
Not only is there a lot of shopping, but there is also a great variety of gourmet food, including Xin Rong Ji, Yongfu Zunxian, Din Tai Fung, Qian Liang, and more.

Lego Fun Festival - A great place for parent-child trips in summer!
Location: On the lawn next to Taikoo Li in Shanghai Qiantan
Time: July 8th - July 27th
There are two venues in total. There is a venue 50 meters ahead when you come out of the Oriental Sports Center subway station. The theme is football, and there is a small indoor football field for children to play and take pictures.
Turn left and then right after coming out of this venue is the second venue, Re:charge rejuvenation space, which has five themed exhibitions. They are Jungle Adventure, Deep Sea Treasure Hunt, Speed Raceway, Rhythm Party and Brick Gallery. Each theme has interactive or fun Lego, suitable for parent-child.
The last theme is my favorite, where you can see some creations by Lego masters
Tickets: Free, but you must make an appointment through the Lego WeChat mini program. It seems that the first weekend is almost fully booked.
