At sunset, the entire desert is bathed in gold, a breathtakingly beautiful sight. Food Recommendations Abou Tarek in Cairo is a must-try! Located near Tahrir Square, their koshari is simply divine. Noodles, rice, legumes, tomato sauce, and crispy fried onions create a symphony of flavors and textures in every bite. Another recommendation is Sheikh Ali in Luxor. Their signature roasted pigeon is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, bursting with aromatic spices. Accommodation Experience In Cairo, I stayed at a hotel with pyramid views. The location was fantastic, with a direct view of the pyramids from my room. Waking up to the sunrise was an unforgettable experience. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very helpful in arranging various itineraries. In Luxor, I opted for a local homestay to experience the local culture. Tourists who come to Cairo, Egypt usually stay near Tahrir Square. Solo travelers often stay at hostels, but if you want to stay cheaply alone or with someone else, this is a recommended accommodation in the 40,000 won range. There is an old-fashioned elevator. It is located in the middle of the bustling Tahrir area, but the traffic noise is quite loud. A simple breakfast of milk, coffee, eggs, and two pieces of bread is included. The room is quite spacious if you get a twin room. #newyearnewtrip KFC at Tahrir Square was just a short walk from our hotel. Surprisingly, the area was very quiet, so we decided to give it a try. The chicken was a bit saltier than usual and honestly, the vibes weren’t great. Even at the counter, taking pictures wasn’t allowed, which felt odd. On the upside, the view of Tahrir Square, the city's iconic landmark, was quite impressive.
