CABEZERA: TASTE THE DIFFERENCE!
One of my night's gimmick in Tagaytay City is at Cabezera Ridge View Restaurant Tagaytay. i think this is one of the best restaurants in the city for its location: in front of the Winds Residences with 5 mins walk, besides Gerry's Grill and 15 mins walk to Skyranch. It is the best for its Kapampangan cuisine, breath taking view of 360⁰ viewing deck of Taal Volcano, and instragammable butterfly and flower themed al fresco garden and most importantly, a very spacious parking lot in the city. It is pricey and yet affordable fine dining restaurant in the very heart of Tagaytay. For my dining experience for the 19⁰C weather, I ordered Sinampalukang Native Chicken for 420 php, grilled tuna belly for 320 php, sizzling tofu for 250 php, rice platter for 220 php, free bulalo soup and mineral water. I spent 1,210 php for a dinner for two. It is not only about the food but the ambiance. The ambiance makes a lot of difference in the dining experience. Come and see the difference!#celebratewithtrip#mytripvlog#tripblazers#mountainview#foodie#awesomepic

MANG JOSE: BRUNCH AT SKYRANCH
I don't need to buy admission
ticket of 100php at Sky Ranch Tagaytay, at Mahogany Avenue, in order to eat my brunch at Mang Jose Lechon and Inasal. This restaurant is located just in front of the Sky Ranch. This restaurant is actually owned by Chito Miranda, the famous vocalist of Parokya ni Edgar Band, and the name of the restaurant is taken from their famous song, "Mang Jose". I ordered chicken inasal pecho for 310 php served with atchara, soup, and plain rice; and adobong kangkong for 140 php made up of water spinach,vinegar-soy sauce and garlic. For a total of 450 php I took already my full meal breakfast and lunch. Little bit pricey but it is good enough value for money-the taste, the experience and the friendly service crew. Come and taste this filipino food experience!#mytripvlog#tripblazers#celebratewithtrip#mountainview#foodie#restaurant

TAGAYTAY EYE: THE EYE IN THE SKY
If London has London Eye, Philippines has Tagaytay Eye which is 63 meters in height, one of the highest ferris wheels in the country with 32 gondolas. As I ride on the Sky Eye at Sky Ranch Tagaytay, an hour away from Manila at Nasugbu-Tagaytay Hwy, gives me a very good breathtaking view of Taal Volcano, the Lake and Tagaytay City. To avoid the long line and expensive ticket from the original price of 980php for the all you can ride pass better purchase from SM Tickets or on Klook for only 390php. I can ride also on Toy swing, Boat Parade, zip line, etc. The Sky Ranch Tagaytay is a 5-hectare leisure, entertainment and dining park. It is also good to bundle up, bring toiletries, fleece hat, and flash light at night. Don't bring food, just purchase inside. My experience the whole day is worth remembering! #celebratewithtrip#mytripvlog#tripblazers#mountainview#themepark#foodie#urbanexplorer#awesomepic#nationalpark#sky eye

Inside the Ayala Malls Serin at Silang Junction South in Tagaytay City, it is almost Christmas rush and I need to eat for my Christmas Eve Dinner, I decided to eat savory chicken. A savory chicken means " to have salty and spicy flavor" of a chicken. I chose a filipino-chinese cuisine restaurant Classic Savory known for classic savory chicken. For your information, Classic Savory started in Escolta, Manila in 1950 originally serving lomi and chicken on the period of recovering from World War II. I ordered 555php set meal for two, BUTTERED C COMBO, with 10 pcs buttered chicken, with pieces of fish fillet, long life pancit canton, fried banana as dessert and 2 cups of rice. It is really value for money with full meal satisfaction on my Christmas celebration. I'm full, satisfied, and "sulit" which means beyond my expectation. It really fits my taste buds.#mytripvlog#tripblazers#celebratewithtrip#foodie#urbanexplorer #chinese restaurant

BALAYAN CHURCH: FEELING NOSTALGIC
Travelling from Manila to Tagaytay City to Balayan Church in Balayan, Batangas via SLEX, Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road and Tagaytay-Nasugbu Hwy is almost 120.5 kms for almost 3 hours of private van ride. Balayan came from the word "Balai" which means house or "Balayang" which means wood. As i stepped on the grounds of Balayan I felt nostalgic as if i am connected in the past of its old history. And as I entered the church of the Immaculate Conception, with its baroque architectural style, that powerful sentimental feeling came over me-with its thick walls, high facades, massive bell tower which give grandiosity, drama and emotional upliftment on my spirit. The church is made up of coral, wood and bricks. Yes, it is a little bit far from Manila but if you are staying in Tagaytay City it is only about an hour and half travel time for a half day experience of nostalgia for a tourist and pilgrim. By the way, this is a National Cultural Treasure by Heritage Designation in 2001. June 24 is the best time to enjoy Lechon Festival. Underrated by now but a must SEE!#celebratewithtrip #mytripvlog#tripblazers#awesomepic#national treasure #historical church

TWIN LAKES: AMAZING VIEW
#celebratewithtrip
Via private car, we drove to South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and took Sta. Rosa Exit. We continued driving to Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road until we reached Rotonda and passed by Tagaytay-Nasugbu Road. Actually, Twin Lakes is already in Laurel Batangas. Twin Lakes with its shopping mall and dining areas are just the opening of the 1,200 hectare township development of Megaworld. As I stood on the mall it became a perfect and romantic viewing spot to see the amazing view of Taal Volcano and the Lake and the beautiful Twin Lake Hotel. It is a perfect stop over for dining like Camida de Lola, Silver Bucket, Starbucks, Mary Grace and of course, Robinsons Supermarket. There is the basement parking and you can also have a pay parking at the opposite side of the road.#mytripvlog#tripblazers#mountainview#themepark#foodie#urbanexplorer#summervacation

LOURDES CHURCH: PLACE OF SOLEMNITY
#celebratewithtrip
Tourism is not only about the physical self but also spiritul self. It is also about religious tourism. About 250m away from Ayala Mall I find myself walking to a Church of Lourdes for a call of my spiritual nature to attend Holy Mass. Even if on vacation, Tagaytay can offer also places of worships. Inside the church's vicinity, there is the Candle chapel for your candle lighting petition, the grotto and a good parking lot. I entered the church and kneel on the santuary and pay respect to the image of Our Lady of Lourdes, the patron saint. And the mass begins. The end of my tour in Tagaytay. #mytripvlog #tripblazers#mountainview#spooktaculartrip#summervacation#churches

WINDS RESIDENCES: STAYCATION IN TAGAYTAY
The nearest tourist spot which is an hour away to Manila via Skyway and Slex is Tagaytay City where you can find the smallest volcano known as Taal Volcano. I always choose SMDC Winds Residences for my staycation which is conveniently located along Aguinaldo Highway, Brgy. Maharlika, Tagaytay City. Just walking around I can have my outdoor or indoor swimming, club house, tennis court, basketball court, and different dining establishments. Of course,Tagaytay experience is not enough without dried Tawilis (fish from Taal Lake) and Bulalo (cow's meat from the grounds of Tagaytay) for my lunch and dinner. I enjoyed the cool breeze and cozy weather. I enjoyed the studio unit in Winds Residences with complete amenities Value for Money. Fine dining at Antonio’s
Antonio’s is often hailed as one of the Philippine’s best and finest restaurants. Tucked in the cool and breezy city of Tagaytay - a little more than an hour’s drive from Metro Manila, this fine dining restaurant with a Spanish-colonial feature in an idyllic rural setting is a beautiful place to celebrate milestones and special occassions.
Antonio’s remains as one of our favorite places to celebrate and is such a special place for me and my husband.
Although quite pricey, they provide outstanding dining experience and sumptuous meals. We love its signature dish - the 45 days dry aged charcoal grilled angus prime rib eye steak, served with 6 different condiments. The main entrees are served too with a choice of salad, soup and dessert, making up a four course meal. 😋💙

Marcia Adams” Retaurant
Marcia Adams, although a hidden gem, is a classic favorite and remains as one of the recommendable restaurants when visiting Tagaytay.
This garden restaurant boasts of a beautiful and romantic ambiance, said to be inspired by Italian farmhouses and Mediterranean themed dining areas. Its such a sweet surprise that my husband brought me here for a quick Tagaytay getaway a few years back to celebrate my birthday.
Marcia Adams can get busy especially on weekends with the influx of visitors so its best to reserve a table in advance for a taste of its home-cooked Mediterranean dishes. 😋💙

Napa Crosswinds
As the lockdown restrictions ease because of the vaccine rollouts, people are going out again to safely dine-in restaurants and cafés outside their homes. One of the popular places to go to for that well-deserved break and a change of scenery is none other than Tagaytay City. It is one of the most accessible destinations for Manileños and Southies (those who reside in the South) to visit for a quick road or food trip and lengthy stay-cations. Either there’s a new place to discover and a new restaurant to try for good food plus the amazing ambiance or a favorite spot which deserves another visit. Check out NAPA at Crosswinds, a must-visit cafe in Tagaytay.
The Tagaytay of today has changed a lot. What was once a sleepy city is now turned into a bustling, crowd-filled area, who is always driving by and hopping from one restaurant, hotel, and/or condominium to another. Unbeknownst to many, there is now a side of the city that has been developed into a commercial district with all the hotels, condominiums, and parks that have sprouted through the years. Be strategic about planning your plans with your family or friends because you do not want to get yourselves caught in weekend or peak season traffic.
This tourist destination, which is also regarded as the second coldest area in the Philippines, is home for its crisp, mountain air; provision of a gastronomic adventure of eating home-cooked Bulalo; the fresh flowers of kaleidoscope colors that are sprawled out everywhere; columns of majestic, bitter green pine trees (thanks to more than 30,000 pine trees planted and grown here); and that picture-perfect view of Taal Volcano. If you haven’t been here, the serene view of the caldera really captivates breaths especially during the day, with some clouds resting above its crown; and the cold, brushing air and array of twinkling lights as soon as nighttime falls.

The Bulalo here is very delicious + beautiful view beside you is amazing 😍. This place is highly recommended and most of the Filipino's know this place. This is not too from from Manila, the price of the food is not too pricey, the food is worth it.
This place is best specially for the family bonding that you can relax and unwind.
Actually this is unexpected trip with my family, but Im glad that we came here to celebrate my Mother's Birthday she really love it 😍. You will love this place if you really love to eat and travel 😍

Reynaldo's Smokehouse
Situated in the lovely and picturesque
city of Tagaytay, South of Manila,
Reynaldo's Smoke House aims to bring food that not only is tasteful but also brings out a bit of flavor of what Tagaytay has to offer.
Sure, people have been clamoring about the Wagyus, or the Angus for a long time, but we're a firm believer of our very own local flavors, and we then proudly introduce to you, the Batangus!
So happy to have discovered this place, really! It took me a while to write this blog because I was thinking I was too ecstatic to write right after dining. But now that I’m in the proper head space, I can assure you that all the things you’ll be reading are 💯 accurate.
We were coming from Matabungkay, Batangas and Stefan suggested that we have lunch at Reynaldo’s at Tagaytay. He watched it from one of Ninong Ry’s vlogs haha, and we decided to give it a try.
Ahhh, my favorite, the best kare-kare I’ve ever tasted (no joke), Reynaldo’s Corned Beef Kare-Kare! The beef is so tender and the sauce – just perfect. I love how creamy the peanut sauce is! The veggies are wonderfully blanched too. I would seriously go back to Reynaldo’s just to have this kare-kare one more time.
Legit, best kare-kare of my life 😭#unforgettableexperiences #decembertravel #christmaslights #scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #

#holidayvacation Horseback Riding in Tagaytay's Picnic Grove is one of the most common thing to do in Tagaytay, yet the most fun and exciting. Once you ride the horse and it starts walking, you will feel sort of nervous. But, no worries! Because there is someone who will guide you and help you in making the horse move. The tour guide will teach you how to stop the horse, how to make the horse move to the left and right and some other techniques.

I was in the suburbs of Manila, and I was in the rainy day. I finally saw this volcanic lake at sunset, and it was very shocking!
Tagaytay is the closest volcano and volcanic lake viewing area to Manila. Tagaytay is actually a mountain that is not too high, with a flat ridge and a cool climate, which has become a summer resort in Metro Manila. The hills are full of large and small villas, resorts and country clubs, very elegant and quiet. The Tal Lake and the volcano can be seen on the highway on the ridge. The wide viewing platform of the Tal View Hotel is one of the best viewing spots in Tagaytay.
Looking in the distance, the central part of the Great Lakes is the world's lowest pocket active volcano. The small volcanic crater is filled with a green lake, and the lake is still hot. The lake is often cloudy for a while, and the clouds are open for a while, turning the volcano into a confusing scene.
