Taking a hot spring bath is definitely a must-do when you come here, and we chose the Széchenyi Thermal Bath (Széchenyi Thermal Bath) located in the city park, which is also one of the largest hot spring baths in Europe. After getting off the subway, you can walk for a few minutes to see this building with a goose-yellow appearance that looks like a European palace. It provides multiple indoor and outdoor hot spring pools. The most recommended thing is of course the large outdoor pool. It's like being in a swimming pool - it's so fun. And you can also see locals playing chess leisurely in the pool. The whole atmosphere is very interesting! The spring water here comes from geothermal heat and is rich in minerals. It is said to be very helpful for rheumatism and arthritis. Walk along the river, start with the Buda palace, wander around the gardens & buildings for free or venture into the museums if you have the time! Street food KARAVÁN is a fun place to pick up some relaxed street food. Afternoon make your way to the city park with the Széchenyi Thermal Bath, just remember to take a towel & flip flops. Visited Szechenyi Thermal Bath in Budapest Hungary. It is basically a large and castle like architecture design “ thermal pool”. This is the largest medicinal pool in entire Europe. The heated water is supplied by two thermal springs and temperatures at 74 degC and 77degC. There are 3 indoor and 15 outdoor bath pools, with varying temperatures level. There are both private and public bath pools. This complex is built in year 1913. Highly recommended for you to visit to enjoy the thermal bath but also enjoy the architecture of the building.

In fact, the view is so famous that I recommend viewing it from across the Danube River. ✔️Recommended view of the Parliament Building: Parliament Viewpoint Parlamenti nézőpont, Batthyány tér H subway station, Novotel Budapest Danube - Shoes on the Danube River Cipők a Duna-parton / A shoe sculpture commemorating those who lost their lives to the fascists during World War II in front of the Danube River. It is a historical site, so I recommend visiting at least once. - Buda Castle Budavári Palota / Buda Castle near the Szechenyi Chain Bridge. However, since it is so crowded with tourists, visit early in the morning :) - Fisherman's Bastion Halászbástya / It is a 19th-century fortress with a beautiful view. The walk up to the fortress is quiet and nice. I recommend it for the daytime, sunset, and night views. - Café Gerbeaud Kávéház / It is a gorgeous and beautiful cafe as much as New York Cafe. Why are there so many beautiful old cafes like this in Budapest? 🤭 - Ruin Bars Budapest / I highly recommend Ruin Bars! The atmosphere is hip and perfect for drinking at night. Please note that there is a waiting line on weekends :) - Béchamel / If you are looking for a brunch restaurant, definitely go hereㅜㅜ They have a variety of brunch options and they are all delicious. -VakVarjú Restaurant / A place famous among Koreans as a crow restaurant. I went without a reservation and luckily got seated right away. The goulash was really good..! The duck steak pasta was basically all good. The interior was unique and especially good because they played jazz piano. -Rákóczi Restaurant Rákóczi Étterem / A place with delicious goulash and schnitzel. I sat on the outdoor terrace and the atmosphere was great. -Kacsa Étterem / A place where all the food was really good and the atmosphere was great. It was especially nice to be able to eat while listening to the violin performance. -Váci Street (Váci u 38) / A street lined with various brand shops, souvenir shops, and restaurants. Went to visit the Budapest thermal baths in winter which was magical! The waters were lovely and warm which contrasted the cool air. It was quite busy but not unbearable and there was so many pools to try. There were 2 relaxing baths outside and a lanes pool. And then more inside. Among the various hot springs in Budapest, the Széchenyi Hot Springs is famous for its hot spring chess. It is spacious and there are many reclining chairs around the outdoor hot springs, so you can relax. However, you may not be able to secure one unless you go early. There are passes that allow you to enter for cheaper in the morning only, but I think the regular day ticket allows you to relax more. The outdoor temperature is low, so the downside is that you have to warm up in the indoor 40°C bath or sauna. If you are with a family, it might be a good idea to buy a ticket for an extra person to use the changing booth. The lockers are separate for men and women, so changing clothes was not a problem. Chasing relaxation vibes at Széchenyi Baths

It's really easy! Just participate in one of the most common activities in the Hungarian capital, a natural bathhouse. The most famous baths in the city are Széchenyi and ° Gellért (currently We went to the first one, just 3km away from the center of Budapest, and took a package that included all-day entry and a private cabin for the two of us for 78 euros. Did you know that the water in the baths comes from a well about 1,300 meters away from where the water is discharged? Don't forget to bring your swimsuit, towel, and slippers! You'll love the thermal baths too!
