This time in Singapore, I also experienced the unique "Lambretta Sidecar" in Lion City! The same Lambretta Sidecar as Jackson Wang, the boss is super nice! 🛵 Have you ever enjoyed the scenery of Singapore on the Ferris wheel? Not only can you learn about the history of Singapore, but also see the whole view of Singapore in the air, it's so great～🎡 Have a special dinner at Synthesis in the evening, the food and wine here are so great! Creative and delicious, this is a modern bar and restaurant, blending Asian flavors and new flavors, the cocktails in the restaurant are inspired by Chinese medicine, each one has a story🍹 You must experience the nightlife in Singapore, the bar Jigger&Pony ranked third in Asia is so great! We were eager to visit Synthesis 食拿酒稳, a fusion bar in Suntec City. The Chinese name of the bar is cleverly adapted from the idiom "十拿九稳." The bar's storefront resembles a traditional Chinese medicine shop, complete with cabinets of herbal drawers, making it hard to believe there's actually a bar hidden inside! The bar offers a unique selection of locally inspired and TCM-inspired cocktails that you won’t find elsewhere, in addition to the usual alcoholic beverages found at most bars. Each cocktail is served in a specially designed glass that complements the drink. The bar serves dinner from 4 pm to 9.30 pm. We tried the Sakura Chicken Herbal Pao Fan (poached rice) with a herbal pork collagen broth, which was a bit too salty for our taste. Singapore’s probably one of the toughest countries for speakeasy concepts, with strict regulations and huge costs. That’s probably why we appreciate it when one comes along, especially when it’s done perfectly like 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀. 👏🏻 Opened by the same minds behind @mamadiam.prinsep, Synthesis is a new oriental-themed speakeasy concept in Suntec City. Step out of Promenade station and you just can’t miss their iconic storefront that looks like an old-school Chinese medicine hall (they even put out TCM herbs)! 🍶 What’s even more astonishing is the corridor that mimics the old streets of Hong Kong, followed by a posh dining area with an astounding display of liquor. 🍾 Not just their impressive appearance, their cocktail programme is in no way inferior. With a selection of 11 drinks, they’re split between local-inspired and TCM-inspired flavours. 🪴 Most of them are surprisingly sweet and light, resembling their unique ingredient in flavour. The 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗺 was a memorable one that’s the only savoury choice with a salty profile. 🧅 If you’re looking for simple classics, this might not be the place. #singaporetrips#cafe

#singapore Synthesis actually exceeded my expectations despite being a themed restaurant which usually means that people go for the experience/ Instagram photos rather than for the food. But the food was surprisingly good; and the fusion dishes were creative and worked well. I liked the bak kut teh kueh pie tee and the ginseng chicken pao fan, which came with a delicious and comforting soup. The suan pan zi carbonara was highly reccomended by other reviews, but I prefer the traditional ones to this fusion dish, which felt like mochi coated cream sauce. However, on the whole prices are a little on the high side for relatively small portions, although the service was good. Nontheless, it’s worth a visit once for the photo experience; we had fun posing with the various props available.
