It takes about an hour by car from Taipei Airport ✈️, and if you are in the center of Taipei, you can take the MRT 🚇 red line towards Tamsui, then transfer to Xinbeitou, which is very convenient. The hotel features a minimalist Japanese style. As soon as you enter the room, you will see a large private hot spring ♨️ and a Japanese tatami area, which makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. They also provide many Taiwanese snacks and tea. After soaking in the hot spring ♨️, you can sit on the tatami and enjoy 😍. There are large supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, and parks nearby, and it is also very convenient to take the MRT 🚇 to Tamsui. The breakfast has many choices for two consecutive days, and one day even features special local chicken, allowing you to try authentic Taiwanese cuisine 😋. I recently spent two days and one night at SweetMe Resort in Beitou, and it was a lovely experience. The resort is in a great spot, just a 5-minute walk from the MRT station, making it super convenient for getting around. It’s also right next to Beitou Park, which is perfect if you want to enjoy a stroll or just relax in nature. The best part of the stay was definitely the in-room hot spring. Having a private hot spring was such a treat—it’s the perfect way to unwind and recharge. If you don’t have time for an overnight stay, you can still visit the resort for a half-day hot spring session, which is a nice option for a quick getaway. The breakfast was decent, though I felt it could use more variety. A few extra options would have made it better. But overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in Beitou. #taiwan #北投

The room was decently spacious and clean. They design of the bathroom allows you to have a separated shower space with wooden floor which is very nice. A various selection for breakfast. Had a nice time staying here.

Today, Manager Shi invited the six of us to Beitou Shuimei Hot Spring Resort (Shuimei Restaurant) for a meal of authentic restaurant dishes. The menu included Lobster Salad/Persimmon Dried Mullet Roe, Old-fashioned Fried Pork Ribs, Eight Treasure Balls, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, Pork Knuckle with Bamboo Shoots, Squid and Conch with Garlic, Assorted Fruits, and Taro Balls. The rich flavors of authentic restaurant cuisine made every dish delicious 😋. The presentation, aroma, and taste were all perfect. Everyone enjoyed the meal immensely. The taste was delightful, and the experience was enjoyable 😋. In this world, only love and good food should never be disappointed. Highly recommended to everyone.

XINBEITOU have a long history of hot springs since 1942, is wonderful to talk a quick trip to XINBEITOU telex for a weekend. Food is nice easy to hit down to city.
