Wat Tham Phae Dan is the must-visit attraction in Sakhon Nakhon. Private vehicle is not allowed since there are steep hills, but the they provide transportation, only 20 baht per person. The temple was absolutely beautiful. There were many sites within the temple to visit such as Naga yard, heavenly garden, candles shrine. I went there at 4pm, the weather was perfect. Please note that the temple close at 5pm.

We arrived Sakhon Nakhon around 1pm just in time for lunch. So we went to Pakmor Paris. Crispy rice was really really good. Other things were average. After that, we went to Wat Pha Suthawas which was the last temple that Luang Phu Man resided before he passed. It’s very peaceful temples with many sites to visit. Then we went to sacred turtle statue which was very interesting. Lastly, at night time, we visited Wat Pra That Cheong Chum. To my surprise, people actually visit here after dark since the weather is nice, not too hot.
