The Svalbard Museum, which is located in the same building as the Svalbard University Center, is not to be said, as is the case with most of Longyearbyens buildings, and is also prefixed with the Northmost End of the Earth. The shape of the building is typical of the Nordic minimalist style, and the decoration of the logs makes the interior space extraordinarily warm. Although the museum is not large, it is a complete and vivid display of the discoveries of Svalbard Island, the epitome of the island, the historical epitome of human activities in the Arctic, and every exhibit carefully arranged. - Polar bears, seals, reindeer, wild ducks, miner's lamps and range finder are all running through this main line. The museum also won the 2008 European Museum Award for promoting ecological protection and promoting close ties between nature and culture. The inner circle of the museum is an ecological exhibition area consisting of polar bears, seals, reindeer and polar tundra specimens. The outer circle is mainly physical and various simulation scenes. The most prominent polar bear in the exhibition hall, although it looks like a smile, is a polar bear who once attacked and died in the vicinity of Longyearbyen!
