The exhibition hall covers an area of ​​2,280 square meters and the total length of the exhibition line is 360 meters. It exhibits more than 1,200 pieces/sets of cultural relics and more than 150 pieces/sets of key cultural relics. The exhibition starts from the three dimensions of city, history and people, with space, historical facts and characters as clues and time sequence, showing the history of Suzhou from the Paleolithic Age of Sanshan Island to the outbreak of the Xinhai Revolution, a period of 10,000 years.Suzhou Craft MuseumThe Suzhou Crafts Museum is located on the second floor of the West Building of Suzhou Museum. The exhibition area is 2,280 square meters, displaying Suzhou crafts from the Song and Yuan Dynasties to the present and contemporary times. The exhibition displays 900 pieces/sets of cultural relics and 150 pieces/sets of key cultural relics, including traditional crafts such as jade carving, bamboo carving, Suzhou embroidery, and Taohuawu woodblock New Year paintings.
