This is my personal favorite sunset viewing spot in Jeju Island. Suwolbong is convenient because you can drive up to the top, and the view is great. Right next to it is the Gosan Meteorological Observatory building and Suwoljeong. It's nice to watch the sunset from the pavilion called Suwoljeong, but I personally like the view from the railing on the sea side better because it takes better pictures. #hiddengems It was super windy and hard to stay still. It wasn't a very touristic place compere to other places, but I enjoyed the view from the peak. Suwolbong peak is a part of the tuff ring which was formed due to hydro Volcanic explosion caused due to molten lava coming in contact with water. One can see the tuff formation layer by layer formed continuously throughout the cliff. Suwolbong also has a observatory tower to monitor the weather.
