There is a hot spring at Lake Suwa SA on the Chuo Expressway, but I've stopped by the SA for a while because it's about 150km before I return to Tokyo and I get sleepy when I go into a hot spring, so I haven't been able to go in for a while. Suwa Lake SA on the Chuo Expressway is a service area on the way from Shiojiri to Chino in Nagano Prefecture. This service area is not only a place to rest, but also a great place to stop by for photos.
