[2025 Phuket Attraction] Travel Guide for Surin Beach (Updated Apr)

This is one of my favourite beaches and also one of the best beaches in Phuket, clean beach with clear water during dry and semi wet seasons. There’s no dirty river or sewer flowing into the sea. Many sun loungers for rent, bargain for ฿100 per person for half a day use. Many street vendors selling food, cocktails and beer. Public toilet is under renovation as of Nov 2024. Can be busy but able to find a spot to relax especially under the trees. The waves are milder in the morning and in the evening just before sunset. Stronger waves in the afternoon.

#Phuket Travel Surin Beach, relax and chill all day, enjoy surfing the waves Surin Beach is located in Cherngtalay Subdistrict, Thalang District. It is another beautiful beach in Phuket Province, located between Kamala Beach and Bang Tao Beach. The beach has fine white sand and blue sea water. Both ends of the beach are capes extending into the sea, filled with coconut trees and the sunset in the evening casts a beautiful golden glow. However, the beach has fairly strong waves and wind, making it a popular place for surfing. In addition, tourists like to play various beach sports, sunbathe, sail, and rent jet skis. Behind Surin Beach, there are many stalls selling food, fruits, seafood, grilled chicken, som tam, and various drinks.

The other day, I went to take pictures of Surin Beach and found this cute little coffee shop. It's located on the beach. There's a small corner for sitting and sipping coffee, but the atmosphere behind it is the sea view. The view is very beautiful. I ordered a cocoa and matcha green tea menu. The cocoa is very strong. I like it. The matcha green tea is fragrant and tastes good as well. The price is not expensive. Not only it offers a great scenery but you will also find a lot of locals spending their time here as well. It is always good to be able to see how locals doing activities here. Apart from that, you will be able to visit local foods stalls along the beach where you can grab some snacks and drinks to accompany you while watching the magnificient sunset. This has to be one of the most perfect beaches we have ever been to. Perfect yellow soft sand that shelves down into the sea. It’s beautiful and clean. No shells and rocks. Perfect beach for kids to play around. And last but not least a perfect amazing beautiful sunset which will stunned you for a day. Every sunset here brings you different colours and scenery. Plenty of hotels and very good foods along the beach. But the ways to get here are quite exhausting and expensive. I have to pay around 6-700฿ from airport.

The sea is beautiful, the water is clear. I have been to many beaches. For clear, blue water, I recommend Nai Harn Beach. The beach park that gives a good feeling and is a little bit international is Yanui Beach and Surin Beach. Yanui Beach has kayaks. Surin Beach has beach tents for sitting. There are a lot of people at Laem Phromthep. If you want a good view, you have to come before the sun sets a little early.

#phukettrip One of the best beach I have ever been! The sea water is incredibly clear enough to see own foot at bottom. When it becomes afternoon, jellyfish become lively, so better to go in the morning time if want to enjoy in the water. The decent size of wave will come so that kids can either enjoy floating on it or get scrambled :) I will definitely stay at the hotel around Surin area and go to this beach next time I travel to Phuket.
