If you are not planning to walk the entire Phoenix Trail early in the morning, you can completely skip this section. The second section runs from Nanshan to Bogong'ao (L005-018), passing through Erdongshan, Lantouying and Dadongshan. It is the most famous section for admiring Miscanthus.
