Though it was summer in August for Sapa but heading to the Fansipan Peak is a must. Prepare to be half warm half cold 🤣 at least that was what we experienced! A must visit place if you are traveling to Sapa! There are few ways to get into Fansipan and one of them is using cable car which cost about $40 for 2 ways. If you combine with the buffet, it will be about $50. The cable car take about 20mins and the views are nice! We were lucky as the weather is very good when we visited the place at 16th Oct 2023, which is the spring and the temperature is about 14 degree. However, you won’t really feel cold when as the sun light is quite strong. The Fansipan peak is about 600 stairs/ steps from the cable car exit, where you can see the Buddha and Guan Yin statue in close distance if you choose to climb up by stairs. Alternatively, you can also reach to the peak by using monorail which cost about $3 one way. It takes about 6 mins. The whole visit may take you min 5 hours to have a comfortable walks and photo taking as well as taking the buffet. The buffet is from 11am to 3pm. #sapa #fansipan

Cable car and fanicular was about 1,007,000 Dong. After dropping out from Cable car, there are so many stairs to fanicular. I'm really so tired (is there anyone same feeling with me?😅) So, I had two bean cakes ( 30,000 dong) as I needed to get the energy to wait, Fanicular about 40 mins. The options are endless, from short trips across paddy fields and ethnic groups, to long trips over days to get up Fansipan. Else, you are there for the incredible view that people rave about. The climate is super cool. I went in the summer (April 30-May 1) and it was still quite hot in Sapa town. But going up to Fansipan was wonderful. Not too cold but cool, extremely enjoyable. Taking the cable car for the first time was a bit scary, the distance to Fansipan was so far 🥲. But when we got there, it was really worth it!!!
