We had a pleasant stay at Sun and Moon Resort located in a quiet small town by the beach at the southwest corner of Jeju Island. The resort is just 1 minute walk to Sagye beach. There are also a few restaurants and a convenient shop within walking distance from the resort. All the rooms in the resort have floor-to-ceiling windows which offer a good view of the ocean. Our room was huge and clean equipped with a small kitchen. There is a huge lawn area facing the beach with lawn chairs. I enjoyed chilling on one of the chairs at night while having a drink. We stayed at Sun and Moon resort in Seogwipo. The room is clean. I love their free breakfast and the easy walk to the beach. It was very relaxing. there are plentiful restaurants around. When I arrived in Jeju, I gave a heads up to Sun & Moon Resort that I will be arriving late. It is better you inform first because not all hotels in Jeju island operates 24 hours for checking in. I arrived to the resort about 10pm and check in was done swiftly. The parking was free and many lots were available. I had the deluxe suite and it can accommodate 4 persons. It was on the ground floor on the same row as the reception. It was a longer drive back to Sun & Moon Resort resort from UltraMarine as there were traffic from all the sunset goers. This is also good for me because I get to see the illumination right in front of my suite at Sun & Moon resort. The crescent moon swing is lit up and the stone grandfather and grandmother are wearing clothes and they have lights sparkle around them. When it gets darker, the ahjussi who served me breakfast will remove the clothing on the stone statue. It was late April when I check in at Sun & Moon Resort and the weather is chilly even though it was sunny. At the resort, there is a rooftop area and there are two swimming pools. I went up to take a look and the staff are doing maintenance and getting them ready to open for the summer. The pools are so lovely and it overlooks towards the ocean but because of the safety bar railing so it is not really an infinity pool. The walk up lawn area right in front of my suite is lovely. My suite has breakfast included and it will be served to me right at my balcony at the lawn. The entire lawn at Sun & Moon Resort is even bigger than their 2 hotel buildings. The grass is so clean and the air is so fresh and you can even smell the sea and hear the waves. There is also an outdoor barbeque area if you need to cook. You can inform the reception and borrow the barbeque equipment and cook your own.
