The experience on the island can vary depending on a number of factors. Some people go a stay in the resorts. There can be large numbers at times which can be annoying. And then of course the tide times make a difference. At low tide you can see the full sandbar in all it's spectacular glory but at higher tide this is fully submerged in the water. Either way you can still enjoy activities and and around the water. And the scenery and colour of the water is stunning. #givethanks #givethanks

The Philippine niche and beautiful island resort Sumilon is a small island with few tourists. Even a spa in the infinity pool or a spa with unrivalled sea views is a great holiday experience. We went after seeing the whale shark in oslob in the morning. At 11 o'clock in the afternoon, we had a meal at the beach and other buffets. The aroma of the barbecue fluttered. The buffet lunch is mainly Western-style, and there are also live cooking barbecued crabs. Head plates, staple foods, and snacks are all available. After lunch, I took a rest next to the pool. The pool was very deep, and the one-meter-eight people near the edge of the room couldnt step on it. There are snorkeling gear here, the beach and the water quality are very good, but there are a lot of corals underneath, it is best to wear flippers or diving socks to prevent cuts on the soles of the feet. [Traffic] When you arrive at oslob, you can take the electric tricycle to the exclusive dock of the sumilon blue island resort, then take the hotel's crab boat to the island. The first boat on the island is 8am every day. The last boat on the island is 4:30 pm [price] The island belongs to the sumilon bluewater island resort. The room needs to be booked in advance. The tent is about 1000 RMB a night and the room is about 2,000 RMB. Non-residents can also take part in a day trip to Whale Shark and Sumilong Island, including round-trip ferry tickets, buffet lunch at Sumilon Hotel, a towel, snorkeling, life jackets, and swimming pool access.

The island is only a 15-20 minute 🚤boat ride from Oslob.🏖️ We went to beautiful Sumilon Island for a few hours. It is just a sandbar to chill or take nice pictures.📷 The sand was some of the whitest I had seen so far in the Philippines and contrasted beautifully against the clear water and surrounding reefs. If you want to see the inner part of the island you will need to pay 2000-2500p for the resort. Sumilon is a beautiful island in the southeastern tip of Cebu. Known for its crystal clear water and pristine white sands, Sumilon is a must-visit destination on your trip to the Philippines. Simply take a 20 minute boat ride from Oslob and spent as much time as you like relaxing, swimming or snorkeling at this gorgeous island. If you book a return boat, you can hop back on the boat any time back to Oslob. The boat comes and goes every 20 minutes in both directions. And of course, you can bring your own food and drinks but do pack a hat and plenty of sunscreen cos you’re gonna want to spend a while at this paradise!
