Free with guide! Blue Mosque in Malaysia🇲🇾
#FreeHongKongAirTickets
The Blue Mosque is becoming a standard spot in Malaysia! It is located about 30 minutes by taxi from the center of Kuala Lumpur. There is no admission fee and a Japanese guide will guide you carefully. 🥹🥹🥹🙏 Since women are prohibited from exposing themselves, you can borrow a blue robe and scarf 🧕 (of course, it is free). This blue robe is perfect for the Blue Mosque and is very cute. The interior of the building has marble floors, glass ceilings, stained glass, and architecture lovers will especially enjoy it. I went on a Sunday, but there were not many people and it was easy to see! The building is not free to enter, but a guide will guide you, and you will be in a group, so you will start as soon as the number of people gather. The tour will take about an hour and a half, so make sure you plan with plenty of time! 📍The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah MosqueAddress: Persiaran Masjid, Sekysen 14, 40000 Shah Alam, SelangorAccess: It's a little difficult to get to, so I definitely recommend taking a taxi! 30 minutes by taxi from the center of Kuala Lumpur (use the taxi app, grab)Cost: FreeRecommended points: There is a funny old man who is a Japanese guide🙆⚠Caution: The guide is about an hour and a half! The unique architerure design of the Blue Mosque
#mymymemories
The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque is the distinguish landmark of Shah Alam, Selangor. It was commissioned by the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz, construction began in 1982 and finished on 11 March 1988.
It was an interesting & memorable experience to visit this mosque, there is a friendly and knowledgeable mosque's tour guide provided the informative insights and history about the mosque.
The architerural of the mosque features a combination of traditional Islamic, West Asian and Malay design elements. Decorative Islamic calligraphy surrounds the edges of the mosque’s blue dome and parts of the walls, while its main prayer hall exhibits Malay architectural features.
The interior of the prayer hall is finely designed with four pieces luxurious crystal chandeliers from Turkey, doorways, windows and walls featuring aluminum grilles with intricate geometric arabesque patterns, sunlight filtering through the mosque’s stained glass renders a surreal and elegant ambiance to its interior, creating a sense of peace and serenity.
Visiting hours: Saturday to Thursday from 9am - 12.30pm, 2pm - 4pm and 4.45pm - 6.30pm. Friday from 9am - 11am only, and Free admission!

The Blue Mosque, shinning like a sapphire!
#mymymemories
Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque, also known as 'Blue Mosque' is the state mosque of Selangor. Located in Persiaran Masjid Street, Sekysen 14, Shah Alam, Selangor.
Built in 1988, this spectacular mosque is the largest mosque in Malaysia, and also the 2nd largest mosque in Southeast Asia by capacity. The most distinguishing feature is its large blue & silver dome, with fine decorative Khat (Arabic calligraphy), aside by four tower 一of 142.3 meters tall minarets and surrounded by greenary and the Tasik Shah Alam.
I love viewing the mosque from the Tasik Shah Alam, the reflection of the mosque is literally tranquility and beautiful, and the night scene of the mosque is gorgeous, shinning like a sapphire!

"Largest Mosque in Malaysia: The Blue Mosque"
The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque, popularly known as the "Blue Mosque," is a magnificent religious landmark located in Shah Alam, Malaysia. Steeped in history, the mosque was officially inaugurated in 1988 and is renowned for its striking blue and silver dome, making it a standout architectural marvel. As the largest mosque in Malaysia and the second-largest in Southeast Asia by capacity, it can accommodate thousands of worshippers during prayer times.
Visiting the mosque is an enriching experience, especially with the assistance of volunteer guides who offer insightful tours. They provide visitors with a glimpse into the mosque's history, architectural significance, and the role it plays in the local community.
An interesting aspect of the tour is the opportunity to witness or participate in a mock Malay wedding ceremony, showcasing the mosque's cultural importance in hosting traditional events.
Before entering the mosque, it is customary to remove one's shoes and place them on the provided shoe rack as a sign of respect and purity. This act further emphasizes the sacredness of the mosque and the humble nature of its visitors, leaving them with a memorable and spiritually uplifting experience.

Oh, let me tell you, the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque, or the Blue Mosque as it's fondly called, is an absolute gem! From the moment I laid eyes on its majestic blue and silver dome, I was spellbound. The sight of it alone is enough to ignite a sense of wonder and anticipation within any traveler.
As I stepped inside, I could feel the grandeur of the mosque enveloping me. The sheer size and intricate architectural details left me in awe. The blend of traditional and modern elements is an absolute visual feast, capturing the spirit of Islamic art and design.
Entering the prayer hall was like stepping into a serene sanctuary. The atmosphere was charged with a peaceful energy that instantly made me feel at ease. The magnificence of the space, adorned with sparkling chandeliers and soft carpeting, created a truly ethereal ambiance.
Oh, and the educational tour was an absolute treat! The knowledgeable guides shared fascinating insights into Islamic art, culture, and practices, taking me on a journey of discovery. It was a perfect opportunity to immerse myself in the rich heritage and traditions of Islam.
Now, let me take a moment to talk about the main prayer hall. When I entered, I was blown away by its sheer scale. Kuala Lumpur's offbeat check-in spot 🦋 The only blue mosque in the world that scores full marks for healing.
·
On this trip to Malaysia, this is one of my favorite places, it's really more beautiful than I imagined!! I exclaimed "wow" on the bus because it's really more spectacular and beautiful than in pictures!
·
💙Where is this?
This is the full name of the mosque: Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan, located in the small town of Shah Alam in the southwest of Kuala Lumpur, only a 30-minute drive away. It is a super large iconic mosque with a blue-colored glass dome, towering minarets, and Malay-style interior. The most famous blue mosque is in Istanbul, Turkey, and another blue mosque in the world is right here.
💙How to play?
Enter through the main entrance, where a guide will lead you to change clothes and provide a free tour and explanation. It is not a self-guided tour. I joined the 2pm guided tour, which was a suitable time. Photography is allowed everywhere except for the indoor chapel, where it is restricted. However, please maintain quietness and do not disturb others.
💙How to take a photo?
If possible, be sure to bring a wide-angle lens! You can capture very spectacular images! Don't worry about clothing matching, all the girls will change into blue robes when they enter the exhibition, which is very appropriate. The robes are all very clean, so you don't have to worry about wearing dirty clothes worn by others.
💙Is the transportation convenient?
In Malaysia, it's very convenient to use Grab to go anywhere. Just locate the destination and call for a ride. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs around 35 Malaysian Ringgit. Considering that there is no entrance fee for the mosque, it's still very cost-effective!

Kuala Lumpur Blue Mosque
There are only two blue mosques in the world, one in Turkey and the other in Kuala Lumpur. Mentioned the Blue Mosque, many people may not know much, because many tour groups will take you to the Pink Mosque, but I personally recommend this small blue mosque.
Kuala Lumpur is a bit good, many attractions are free, and there are free explanations. This blue mosque is called bule mosque, about 20 minutes drive from the city. Really fried chicken is suitable for taking pictures, and the focus is on very few people. When you walk into it, you will feel a sense of enthusiasm. It is necessary to remind you to respect the local culture, change clothes and slippers, and some places can not take pictures. Oh.

Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque) is the largest mosque in Malaysia and the second largest mosque in Southeast Asia. It is often called the "blue mosque". The main reason is that its architecture is mainly blue and white, and the robes and scarves are dark blue.
The minaret of Malaysia's "Blue Mosque" is 142.3 meters high, which is the tallest minaret in the world. Its blue dome and the main prayer hall are modified with Islamic calligraphy. In particular, the architectural style of the whole Sultan Salahudin Abdul Azisha Halal #Blue Mosque Temple (Blue Mosque) is also integrated with the architectural characteristics of the local Malay people.
