Motorcycles are prohibited on the island, and deliveries are only allowed by Didi, making it quiet and safe. 🍊Must-do list 1️⃣ Take the mini-train for a tour around the island (the ticket includes a bag of carrots for a heartwarming bunny feeding experience). You can also use the train to travel to and from your room, which is very convenient. 2️⃣ Visit the indoor arcade (open on weekends and holidays, enjoy bumper cars and pirate ships). Suining Marriott Hotel: A great choice for family trips around Chongqing The hotel is located on an independent island in the river, providing a pleasant environment. The island is suitable for running, cycling, and walking, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxing time. Although dining options on the island are limited, requiring guests to drive out for food, and motorcycles are not allowed on the island, with food delivery relying on Didi, this also reflects the tranquility and safety of the island. The hotel's service is commendable. We were able to check in smoothly at around 11 am and were allowed to check out at 2 pm, which is very convenient for families with nap needs and lots of luggage. As for the rooms, we chose a more economical room type, but it was spacious, with a large table and two chairs. Even the most basic room type has a bathtub, providing a high level of comfort. The beds in the twin room are 1.5 meters wide, enough for a comfortable sleep for one adult and one child. The shower has a strong water flow, and the air conditioning is very effective in cooling down the room. The restaurant is creatively designed, with breakfast and lunch/dinner in different areas. The breakfast restaurant on the first floor offers a wide variety of dishes and has a small children's play area, adding fun for families with children. Children over 1 meter tall can enjoy a half-price discount, while children under 1 meter eat for free. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is relatively expensive, but the set meals offer great value for money, and the fewer diners ensure a high-quality service experience. Although the serving speed is not fast, the dishes are freshly cooked, and the kitchen can customize meals according to guests' requests. We asked for lighter dishes for our baby, and the steamed egg served was not salty at all, which was very considerate. We chose to dine here for four consecutive meals, showing its charm. In addition, guests can choose outdoor barbecue for dinner, providing more options. The children's facilities are diverse, and although the indoor playground and small train are only open on weekends and holidays, they are still fun. Only the arcade games and bumper cars in the indoor playground require payment, while the building block castle, ball pit, sand pit, and trampoline are free to play. We did not visit the outdoor children's playground due to the hot weather. The small train passes by the petting zoo, and the ticket includes a bag of carrots for children to feed the rabbits and interact with the animals. Outdoor cartoons are shown on the lawn at night, and cartoons are played all day in the lobby, allowing children to enjoy cartoons anytime, anywhere. I stayed here on a Friday for CNY 375, and there was a flash sale for 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. With the Titanium Elite benefits, the actual cost was less than CNY 200 per night. The hotel is located on Shenglian Island in the middle of the Fujiang River in Suining, and is connected to the mainland by tunnels. It's very convenient to take a taxi here. The hotel lobby is very high and grand. The front desk is located in the four corners of the lobby. I was upgraded to a corner king room. I arrived late and didn't experience the happy hour. The hotel didn't provide welcome fruit. The room is in a typical Marriott style. The bathroom has a sliding door and is open-plan. There's a separate oval bathtub and a small cloakroom in the room. You can see the tent area and fruit trees by the road from the room. The hotel is located on a small island in the river, so it's very quiet at night and great for resting. The hotel has a full range of fitness facilities, but no swimming pool. There's a third-party water park nearby that requires an additional fee. There's also a children's play area, a children's train, and starry sky tents, all of which require an additional fee. Overall, the hotel is very family-friendly and great for a holiday with kids. The breakfast is average. There are local specialties such as pork rib noodles and mixed sauce noodles, as well as Sichuan-style baozi. There are only three types of fruit in the fruit area, which matches the price but not the brand. It's definitely worth staying here for a night at this price. The hotel is full of advertisements for "Sichuan's Little Sanya", which is a bit awkward. Is Sanya a popular tourist destination?

But Suining is really suitable for a leisurely stroll, feeling the slow pace. ⛩ Lingquan Scenic Area: Surrounded by mountains, with ancient-style architecture, you can overlook the Suining city area. ⛩ Guangde Scenic Area: Guangde Temple, where the commercial atmosphere is not so strong. Recently, there is a free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) trial event, where you can wear Hanfu and stroll around the temple. 🌊 Shenglian Island to see the sea - Stay at the cheapest Marriott, known as the 'Little Sanya'. In summer, lotuses bloom, and in winter, tulips. You can rent a bicycle to ride around the lake. To go to Shenglian Island, you can take a boat from the pier for free. ⛩ Longfeng Ancient Town: A quiet town by the river. I've written a special article about it before, so I won't say much more. You can plan to soak in the hot springs here, and play the next day. It's quite suitable for a family trip. In the evening, you can also enjoy the night view of Suining, which is really nice. Feng Dumplings: Ordered pork and chive dumplings, 2 liang for 10 yuan, a fair price, the taste is average, the dipping sauce is spicy oil, you can add some salt, MSG, and vinegar to taste. Chong Popo: A grandmother who sets up a stall in Dongjia Alley, you must try a 'Chong' for 1.5 yuan. This is a Suining specialty, with a mustard flavor. When I was a child and had a stuffy nose in winter, I would go eat one. Nanxiaoqu Potato Slices: It can be said to be a must-eat when I go back, sweet and spicy taste.
