As an Architectural Engineer l find this place pretty peculiar. Wonderful combination of heavy concrete structures and light metal tent constructions on the top of the hill! At this point of Morro da Urca you can take a ride to the top of the sugarloaf, set for a view or make a hike down through the woods to the wonderful city of Rio! 🤗❤

Afternoon trip to the best place for seeing Rio! We decided to save some money on this, so we took the walking trail at the Morro da Urca (probably mistaken the name). The hill is steep! And we surely are not the sports people. At the end we were greeted by the amazing and relaxing view (even tho the weather was pretty bad at that time). We finished this trip with the churros by the beach.

How unsafe is Rio de Janeiro? 🇧🇷
So many people told me that they are afraid to go to Rio and how dangerous it is when I was planning a trip. And here I am running around the favela 🤣
Visiting Rio is not scary at all if you just follow the rules:
💚 Don’t go to the beach at night
💚 Don’t film locals in favelas
💚 Know the area you are going to and make sure you don’t accidentally wonder into a favela
💚 Don’t overdress and avoid designer clothing and fancy equipment
💚 Use Uber or taxi instead of walking
💚 Don’t walk around with your phone out and don’t stick your phone out when filming from a moving car
I felt completely comfortable but I accepted the risk of having my phone or credit cards stolen before going to Brazil. I think it’s not a problem especially because you can just insure your phone and block the cards if they are stolen. Taking a little risk is 100% worth it for visiting this gorgeous city which has it all 💚🇧🇷

Sugar Loaf Mountain is not high above sea level, and the height of the mountain top is 395 meters. However, standing on the top of the mountain at the south exit of Guanabara Bay, it can see the beauty of Rio. Its name is also very simple and straightforward. Because it looks like bread from a distance, it is named Baker Hill. But in fact it has two hills, one like a stand-up bread, a flat bread... although I don't think it is like...
This is the beach below the Sugarloaf Mountain, passionate The unrestrained Brazilians will not let go of every beach that can be enjoyed. There are also many people here. To the top of the hill, you need to take the cable car and pass the beach.
Some scenes taken on the way to the cable car have not yet reached the top of the mountain. For more than 100 years, Sugarloaf Mountain and Monte Cristo have defined Rio. At the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, there is such a Brazilian restaurant called Cota 200 Restaurant. Their family's Brazilian cuisine is very authentic, but the more eye-catching nature is the invincible beauty. At the top of the mountain at an altitude of more than 200 meters, you can enjoy the food while watching the little stars in the foot of Rio. The beauty of the food will make you unforgettable.
Enjoy the bread mountain while enjoying the food, but there is no one here. The staple food here is mainly salmon and seafood, and the main meal is basically salmon.

Sugarloaf Mountain is a famous tourist attraction in Brazil. This mountain is named after French bread. Located at the entrance to Guanabara Bay, it is one of the symbols of Rio de Janeiro. Not only can you see flights to and from Rio Airport, but there are countless vultures hovering over Rio. In fact, most of the time it is considered an eagle. Actually, so many vultures appear in the sky above the city. One possibility is Because of the elevation of Brazil itself, another ecological food chain is also very perfect, and nature protection is very good. Compared with the image of Christ in the mountains of Jesus, it is not as easy as coming in the bread mountain. However, because of the altitude, the weather on the mountain has changed a lot. As for whether or not you can see the image of Christ, when you can see it, it seems that the feeling of seeing the sea in Huangshan is similar.

There is a saying in Brazil: God spent six days to create the world, and on the seventh day he created Rio.
God is eccentric, taking the Atlantic Ocean, beaches, forests, mountains, food, music, The carnival and hot bikini girls gave Rio.
Bread Mountain is also a symbol of Rio. The sweet bread mountain is 394 meters high and can be seen on the top of the mountain. The original meaning of the Indian language is the tall and straight independent mountain. Its pronunciation is similar to the pao de acucar in Portuguese. Together with the shape of the mountain, the Portuguese think of the home made conical sugar, so it is called sugar bread.
In 1912, the first cable car line was opened from the red beach in the foothills of the mountain. Now visitors can spend 71 reais to take the cable car and go up the mountain, enjoying the sweet view of the Rio Sugar Loaf.
