I loved walking along the canal, snapping pictures of the boats and the charming architecture 🙌 From there, I walked to Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Danish royal family. The square is grand, and the changing of the guard ceremony happens daily, which was a perfect moment to photograph 📸 the palace and the guards in their traditional uniforms 💯 📍Amalienborg Palace – Amalienborg, 1257 København K, Denmark I then headed to one of Copenhagen’s most famous landmarks, the Little Mermaid 🧜♀️ statue. It was a bit crowded, but I still managed to take some great photos from different angles. I recommend capturing it from the side or with the water as a backdrop for a more dynamic shot 📸 From there, I explored Kastellet, a star-shaped fortress just a short walk away. The grounds are peaceful, with lush greenery, old military buildings, and a windmill. It’s a quiet, serene place, perfect for getting shots of historic architecture and nature. The architecture and the surrounding gardens 🌺 made for a perfect morning photo session. I spent some time walking through King’s Garden, which offers great views of the castle, with beautiful flowers and trees framing the scene. The early morning light ✨ hitting the castle’s towers created a magical atmosphere, perfect for capturing both the grandeur of the building and the lush surroundings 🙌 📍Rosenborg Castle – Øster Voldgade 4A, 1350 København, Denmark I also visited Frederiksberg Gardens, a large park with beautifully landscaped grounds, fountains ⛲️ and a serene lake. Start off the day’s meal at sct. peders Bärgeri, with delicious varieties of pastry and bakery to choose from, and beautiful interior decorations as they got a few seats indoor for you to dine-in. Take a train towards Helsingør and explore Kronborg Castle, journey takes less than one and half hour. There are regular guided tour during the day, telling you about stories of castle. Alternatively, get the castle map and explore yourself from the self guides. You will need around one and half hours to explore the whole castle. Behind the castle, there is Kronborg beach where you may enjoy the sea breeze and part of Sweden view at opposite side. Stroll along the harbour and take the train back to Copenhagen towards Home of Carlsberg. You will need to book in advance for entrance slot and it is free entrance if you have your Copenhagen pass. Travel journey takes less one and half hour, so you may plan your itinerary accordingly. You will need to go ticket counter and receive a waist band for free beer or drink at the bar after you complete the tour. Tour will begin with Carlsberg family, history and how they acclaimed museums and the Carlsberg Research Laboratory. The tour estimates takes 1.5 hour to complete. Hotel SKT. Annæ Sankt Annæ Pl. 18, 1250 Copenhagen, Denmark 💰£120 per night I had long heard about the excellence of Nordic design, and this trip truly opened my eyes. The first hotel I stayed at in Copenhagen was Hotel SKT. Annæ, just a 5-minute walk from the famous Nyhavn. The location is excellent. The interior design of the hotel is sophisticated and elegant, with seating at the entrance surrounded by lush greenery, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. On the ground floor, there's a dining area, as well as spaces for guests to enjoy a drink or get some work done. There’s a fireplace, sofas, and when night falls, candles are lit, adding a cozy ambiance. The rooms aren't particularly large but are well-designed, with a warm wood-tone style and brown bedside lamps. Opening the curtains, you can also get a view of the hotel's lobby. #Cruise #100 Ways to Travel Because I have never experienced a cruise, I just happened to take this trip to Europe to experience a cruise and sleep on it for one night before arriving in Oslo, Norway. It was a different experience, so I decided to take a cruise. We chose a cabin with windows and sea view. As for meals, you can make reservations in advance on the official website or decide to order on site, so eating is not a problem. There are also duty-free shops on the ship, which are very nice to visit and buy, and the things are really cheap. I thought things in Europe were expensive, so before boarding the ship in Copenhagen, I went to a nearby supermarket and bought some bread, milk, snacks and water. We purchased an additional dinner on the cruise and chose the all-you-can-eat 7 SEAS restaurant. Although it was an all-you-can-eat option, drinks had to be ordered separately. There is also a time limit for dining (about 2 hours). We chose the first batch to dine at 16:30. Many guests in the first batch were still resting, especially many group guests who were in the second batch to dine, so we just staggered with them and felt a little more leisurely. There is a rich choice of ingredients for dinner, including a variety of seafood, steak, pork, salads, desserts, and there is also a special food pick-up area for children. In addition, there are lockers at the terminal for storing luggage. However, you need to insert coins and cannot pay by credit card, so if you don’t have coins, you may be able to go to the counter and ask the staff to swipe your credit card to exchange for coins! I'm not sure about this part. Because in Norway, if we need coins to wash or dry clothes, we have to swipe our cards to exchange for coins. The church was built to commemorate the Danish theologian, writer, and poet Grundtvig. Because the exterior of the church resembles an organ, locals affectionately call it the 'Organ Church.' The church was designed by the famous Danish designer Jensen Klint. The interior of the church is typically Gothic but without any decorations, which helps to highlight the verticality of Gothic architecture. It also expresses the purity of modernist space and has a modern minimalist aesthetic tendency.
