The lake has magnificent views and is so tranquil. When we arrived, we were pretty much the only ones there. We also spotted an island with a temple in the lake. I believe there are boat rides that can take you there, but the ticket office was closed and all the boats were tied to the jetty on that day. Nevertheless, it’s a huge scenic area and one can easily spend half a day there! This place is HUGE! There were lovely views all round and very interesting sights. The fields are plentiful with limited restrictions so we were able to freely walk around, play badminton, and lie down on the grass. There are enough amenities (ie. bathrooms, vending machines) around for convenience. we had a lovely time seeing some flowers in bloom and hoped next time we get to try other activities like kayaking or pottery! The cafe had some really tasty dessert and coffee and the pottery section had really nice handmade trinkets.
