Ulan Maodu | Bai Jingting's Same Hotel: Is it Worth It?
| Bai Jingting's Same Hotel: Is it Worth It? Departure The journey was smooth, arriving at Ulan Maodu Grassland Valley Hotel
1 Hotel Activity - Hiking the Volcano Trench Ruins
Gather at the hotel lobby at 2:30 PM, with a guide leading the way, we drove ourselves and followed. On the way, we were surrounded by a herd of cows, the calves were super cute! After about 20 minutes, we arrived at the foot of the mountain. Slowly climbing up, we saw those volcanic rocks arranged on the top of the mountain. The guide said they were buried by the Japanese back then. The view from the top was really great, but the wind was huge! We hastily took a few photos and went down early. If it wasn't so windy, we would have taken a hundred photos.
Hotel Activity - Tasting Grassland Milk Tea and Hand-held Meat
The hand-held meat was really delicious. It was my first time tasting lamb with a milky flavor, and the milk tea was also quite good.
1 Hotel Room - Terrace View Twin Room
We originally booked a two-bedroom suite, but due to a change in our friend's schedule, we negotiated with the hotel and they directly helped us change it! The room was still very spacious! The terrace on the first floor allows you to go out and stargaze at night.
The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and there was a round bathtub facing the grassland. The shower and bathroom were both very large! Very nice!
However, the bathroom sink did not have a hand towel, the shower room had no hooks, and the hairdryer could use an upgrade. Hotel Dining
Breakfast: The buffet variety was not extensive, but it was quite tasty. Dining time was 7:30-9:30
Lunch: We ordered egg fried rice, small bowl of lamb noodle pieces, and salad at the restaurant
Dinner: We ordered hand-held meat, spicy and sour shredded potatoes, cold dishes, and Buryat dumplings at the restaurant. We finished everything! The milky flavored hand-held meat, dipped in garlic and chive flower sauce, was so delicious!
However, the portions at the restaurant were very large. It is recommended that for two people traveling, there could be smaller portions or set meals to choose from. If the manager hadn't halved our portions, we really wouldn't have known how to order...
Others
We wandered around the hotel, saw the room signs from the variety show 'Now, Go!' and went to the window where Bai Jingting took photos. The terrace was also worth a stroll! The sunset from the rooftop was really beautiful!
The overall feeling of the hotel was good, very spacious and bright everywhere. Although we came in autumn, the temperature was very low, but it was always warm inside the house.
