#traveldiaries COEX is a convention centre located at Samseong, Gangnam area. Beside the convention centre there is a mall called COEX mall which is very unique. Usually when a new store overseas or outside who wanted to set foot in Seoul, Starfield COEX mall will have their first outlet in Seoul, then it will spread across other area. There are a lot of eateries, shops and outlets available and you can see many stores not available at other places in Seoul. There are also other malls called Parnas Mall and The Hyundai connected adjacent to it. There is also a Starfield Library which is a photispot for all visiting here.

#traveldiaries Starfield COEX mall has recently launches a gourmet street covering many restaurants such as Japanese, Chinese and local Korean, and there are so many of them to be chosen from that you need some time to pause and decide what to eat. There are 40 restaurants there for you to choose from, and everyone of them are famous. The street is decorated with plates and kitchenware features to let people having a feeling of visiting a gourmet street. A very nice concept in a mall.

Coex Mall is a large comprehensive shopping mall. There are not only shopping and restaurants inside, but also an aquarium, a casino, and the famous check-in spot "Starry Sky Library". The design style of the mall is like many pieces of art. Definitely worth a pilgrimage. #cafestory We were strolling around Coex Starfield Mall and came across this cafe called Berce cafe, and we decided to rest our feet here. They have a Renaissance style interior design with many paintings and chandeliers. We ordered some teas (Rooibos and Peppermint), Kougne Amman and a cake for sharing. The desserts tasted well and the tea also has a very fruity aroma, and we enjoyed the interior vibe. The Byeolmadang Library, which I visited after a long time, was creating a pretty space with trees and lights, and I had a very filling lunch at The Place COEX Mall, and even went to Starbucks Reserve for tea time!! #2023TravelWish Our trip to Seoul in 2022 was one to remember. Seoul has something for everyone. The vibrant moderness paired with the tradition and cultures left us in awe. From the peaceful night lights reflecting on the Han River, to the busting Coex Starfield Mall. From the traditional palaces to the technological wonder of Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Seoul is amazing. Toyoko Inn (Yeongdeungpo) provided us with comfortable accommodation. P. F Changs and Daily Fix( Gangnam) had scrumptious food. Seoul 2022 was memorable... looking forward to Danang, Vietnam 2023.

This dining lab is really fast and delicious. Also good price in the shopping mall in Coex. All these menus are less than 15,000won. Amazing, isn't it? If you visit this mall, many restaurants are a bit expensive. But here is not. After ordering your meal through the machine, you can pick your menu by yourself. This Ginormous Library is found in the middle of COEX Central Plaza in South Korea, Seoul, Gangnam-gu, Yeongdong-daero, 513. It is open to public and all are free to sit, rest, read books and take a break. A Futuristic library & cultural event space on 2 levels of a mall with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. It has a wide selection of books in various genres such as humanities, economics, hobbies, etc. are readily available. Whole sections of the library are dedicated to foreign books and famous authors. iPads can be used to read e-books. Close to 600 magazines, domestic and foreign, are available for browsing. All these qualities set Starfield Library apart from other ordinary libraries. La Eskimo is a cafe inside COEX. As the name Eskimo suggests, the signature drink is a coffee and ade drink topped with shaved ice! I ordered grape juice and got a handful of ice! I didn't expect the drink to taste good because of the visuals, but the grape juice was really strong and completely different from the grape juices on the market. The iced chocolate was also really strong chocolate with marshmallows! La Eskimo was perfect not only in terms of visuals but also in terms of taste! I also ordered tangerine tart and red curry with the drinks. The tangerine tart was really delicious because the tangerines were sweet and sour and the pastry was crunchy. And the red curry, of course! Amazing! New library in Korea, in Suwon city, you can take the subway from Seoul. This library is called Byeolmadang (별마당) in Starfield shopping mall. This is 3 times bigger than Starfield Library in coex. They have 3 floors of library in the mall. It's only a little over an hour subway ride from Hongdae.
