Firstly, staying at a hotel within the scenic area comes with VIP treatment
Wearing a VIP bracelet, you'll be picked up by a special car to go to the hotel. The hotel's unique theme is indeed very nice and satisfies the girlish heart. The entire hotel is starry-themed, and we stayed in the 'Planetary Adventure' themed room, which is also decorated with stars and planets.
To our surprise, the room also came with a bath bomb and a disposable bath bag.
There's a small treehouse that you can climb to watch the stars (although artificial, the atmosphere is still quite nice). Couples can also go up and snuggle for a while.
However, there are some downsides. During our visit, it happened to rain at night.
Then the stairwell was all wet, possibly because it's designed to be open-air, which is inevitable, but having the corridors and stairs all wet is really not safe, as it's easy to slip.

I own the copyright, so if you want to repost, you must tag me! I visited the Cloud-top Prairie on October 5th, and while the memory is still fresh, I hurried to make a guide for everyone!
1. Should you bring children: The Cloud-top Prairie is a large playground suitable for both adults and children in all seasons. However, children with insufficient physical strength and height can't participate in most of the adult activities. Throughout the day, I heard various parents complaining that it's very tiring to bring children along, so it's not recommended. Children over 1.4 meters can participate in some more challenging activities, so they can be brought along.
2. What to play: The Cloud-top Prairie is a high-mountain amusement park, divided into a non-powered playground and a cliff-thrilling playground. The non-powered one is at the foot of the mountain, and the cliff is at the top. You can play normally in summer and autumn, and in spring and winter, you can go skiing (beginner, intermediate, advanced), but friends say skiing is more fun in the north (the famous Changbai Mountain).
3. Opening time: Many people online say it opens at 9 am, but when I bought the ticket, it was said to open at 7 am. However, the taxi driver told us that it actually opens at 6:30 am, and indeed it does. We arrived at the park entrance around 7:15 am to queue for the bus and there were already twenty or thirty people in line. So I really, really suggest arriving before 7:30 am, and you basically won't have to queue for anything.
4. Where to eat and stay:
(1) Stay: No matter where you stay, sort out your own breakfast. You can stay in a homestay, which is generally in the village. I suggest calling a taxi as soon as you get up (I tested that the DiDi applet is faster and more expensive than Gaode, and Alipay Travel is also linked with Gaode). Our price was getting up at 6:30 am. If you don't want to get up early, you can stay at a hotel near the Cloud-top Prairie. I saw there were some at the park entrance, but they looked quite old, and I didn't research the prices, so everyone can compare for themselves. If you're not considering the price, you can stay at the 168 Starry Sky Hotel inside the park, because the ticket is valid for two days, and staying one night is just right.
(2) Eat: There are quite a few restaurants in the park, at the cable car square at the foot of the mountain, and there are also eight rooms on the mountain (eight snack shops, dumplings, drinks, noodles, burgers, etc., for replenishing energy). It's said online that you should bring your own dry food, but if you want to have a good time, I don't recommend bringing your own. It's already tiring to climb the mountain with nothing, let alone carrying so much stuff, and it's also inconvenient to keep your belongings while playing. You can bring some paper for the toilet and water. Looking at the map, there are a total of 7 toilets, so drink less water and go light.

For visitors over 110cm in height, almost all attractions are accessible, and there is no need to wait in line. The snack prices inside the park are also very reasonable, and if given the chance, I would visit again! About the hotel: We parked our car at the Cloud Prairie parking lot and went straight to the hotel service center to temporarily book a starry sky room. The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a family starry sky suite. When we arrived at the top of the mountain on Saturday evening, we saw the rime on the top of the mountain. At first, we thought it was white plum blossoms. We got up early the next morning to watch the sunrise, finished breakfast early and went straight to the ski resort. We were the first to enter the snow field. The experience was great, and there were more people after half past ten!
