The service of the concierge and reception is also commendable. The entire check-in process was very smooth, and I felt like a VIP. Our room was on the 7th floor, overlooking the Brisbane River, with a great view. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious, with a large bathtub. The newly renovated carpet had a strong smell, but overall it was very clean. The room was fully equipped, including a hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, etc., and even a TV in the bathroom. There are many attractions worth visiting near the hotel, such as South Bank Parklands, Brisbane's Theatre of Magic, and Fox In a Box Brisbane Escape Rooms. For friends who like adventure, you may want to try Jet Ski Tours in Brisbane and Hop On Brewery Tours. Moreover, there are many kinds of restaurants, such as Lamberts Restaurant and Flour & Chocolate Patisserie, which are worth a try. However, it is a pity that the hotel's Wi-Fi requires payment. In addition, the smell of the newly renovated carpet is too strong, and better ventilation is needed to solve the problem. Overall, the Stamford Plaza Brisbane is a well-located hotel with first-class service. Although there are some minor shortcomings, it is still highly recommended overall. Here, you can easily reach the Botanic Gardens and the riverside promenade to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Brisbane. From the moment we parked our car at the hotel entrance, we felt a special atmosphere that made us feel like VIPs. The valet parking and enthusiastic doorman made us feel well taken care of. The hotel's decor is classic and elegant, exuding a rustic charm. Although the rooms are a bit old, they are clean and tidy overall. The front desk check-in was very smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Our deluxe room had a stunning view of the Brisbane River, and the large windows made waking up every day a delight. The room was spacious, with a king-size bed that was very comfortable. The bathroom was also quite large, with a big bathtub that was perfect for relaxing. Every morning, while enjoying the hotel's sumptuous buffet breakfast, we could see the boats passing by on the river, which was a pleasant start to the day. Around the hotel, you can find many restaurants: the steak at Lamberts Restaurant and the desserts at Flour & Chocolate Patisserie are mouthwatering. For the most authentic burgers, Betty's Burgers is a great choice. In the evening, you can also go to the nearby Pav Bar for a few cocktails, which is very relaxing. Of course, there are some minor drawbacks to mention. Since the hotel was recently renovated, some rooms may have a new carpet smell, so if you are sensitive to smells, it is recommended to communicate in advance to change rooms. Also, Wi-Fi is charged, which is a bit inconvenient. However, it does not affect the overall wonderful experience. If I come to Brisbane again, I would still choose to stay here, as everything here really makes you feel at home. 💖
