The Colors of Yichun (1): A Whirlwind Tour of Harbin
Before this year's National Day, I made plans with a friend to visit Yichun, the forest capital of China. Since we were coming from different parts of the country, we decided to meet in Harbin. We had some free time, so we took a little city walk around Harbin...
The platform at Harbin Railway Station is built in a purely European style, restoring the historical appearance of the station from 100 years ago. The flowing eaves, towering towers, romantic dormer windows, and rose windows all showcase Harbin's unique exotic charm.
"It's not that I can't afford to go to the Louvre, it's just that Harbin Pharmaceutical Factory No. 6 is more cost-effective." The exterior of Harbin Pharmaceutical Factory No. 6 is in a European style, solemn and elegant, majestic and magnificent. The interior is even more exquisite, with carved beams and painted pillars, full of European artistic atmosphere, like an art palace.
Baroque architecture is an art style that emerged in Italy in the 17th century, characterized by free form, strong colors, luxurious decoration, and detailed carvings. The largest and most complete Chinese Baroque architectural complex is in Harbin. As an important part of Harbin's historical and cultural city, the Chinese Baroque Historical and Cultural Block witnesses the historical changes of the city.
St. Sophia Cathedral was built in 1907 and is a typical Byzantine-style building. The exterior of the church is magnificent, and the interior is simple and elegant. When the sun shines on this ancient building, the golden halo reflected from the top of the church looks like a dream castle.
The Flood Control Monument is located in the square on the north section of Central Street in Daoli District, Harbin, on the banks of the Songhua River, in the middle of Stalin Park. It was built to commemorate the people of Harbin overcoming the great flood in 1957.
The Binzhou Railway Bridge, also known as the Songhua River Railway Bridge, is located on the Songhua River on the east side of Stalin Park in Daoli District, Harbin. It is a large cross-river bridge on the China Eastern Railway, with a stone pier and steel structure, a total length of 1,050.87 meters, a width of 7.2 meters, and 19 spans.
The Binzhou Railway Bridge was built in 1900. This bridge spans the wide Songhua River, connecting the two ends of the city. It is not only an important transportation hub on the Songhua River but also one of the landmark buildings in Harbin.

Beautiful Harbin
How can one ever tire of taking photos of Harbin's romantic springtime?
I have always lived in Harbin, and no matter the season, I casually capture the city's scenery.
April marks the beginning of Harbin's season of blooming flowers, a romantic period. I've recently discovered that a walk around the Railway Bureau subway station allows for many photos of scenes I adore. In previous years, I would always go to the campus of Harbin Engineering University to photograph spring, but I wonder if outsiders are still allowed in freely now? There are also places like the vicinity of Saint Sophia Cathedral, the Confucian Temple, Stalin Park, and so on.

We landed at dawn, and it was two o'clock in the morning when we arrived at Central Street, but the night in Harbin is super beautiful, walking on the street as if in a Russian street.
We chose to stay at the Home Inn near Central Street, where it is very convenient to walk anywhere, 10 minutes away from Central Street, and the Sofia Church is just outside the hotel, not far from the famous attractions, super convenient.
Cotton pants + warm + plus velvet sweater + plus velvet pants + plus velvet thick socks + long down jacket + snow boots, be sure to prepare hats and gloves, otherwise it will be very cold, scarves also need to be prepared, sisters who want to create a style can prepare a pair of sunglasses, it will look good when taking pictures in the snow!
You must go to Central Street, it's beautiful, and it has different beauty during the day and night.
Songhua River Bridge is super photogenic, it's best to go at night.
There are many people who check in at the Sofia Cathedral, and a casual shot is a big picture. There are also photo shoots. Sisters who are not afraid of the cold can consider it, and sisters who are afraid of the cold are not recommended.

We also went to many churches with different architectural styles, and you can walk around in a line, and a casual shot is a big picture.
The enthusiasm of Harbin, the unique spectacle of the Ice and Snow World, and the exotic Russian-style buildings on the street are definitely worth a visit, and a second visit! Harbin·Heilongjiang

The central street walked like this, and went to the Songhua River. After passing the flood control victory tower, I saw that the Songhua River had thick ice. Many figures on the ice were experiencing the ice and snow project, and continued to turn right. You will find a group of ice and snow, cute, you can not help but smile, the original snowman can be so fun, there are fine ice sculptures behind the snowman. They are the ultimate show of Harbin's beauty.
