The weather was beautiful when we stayed in the southern part of Hong Kong island, so we decided to spend the day exploring the nearby beaches! 1. Address - Repulse Bay Beach Highlights- Go for the views and the incredible calm water that was perfect for swimming 👙 I could have spent all day in the sea! Rating - 10/10 2. Address - Stanley Village and Main Beach (hop on any of the buses from the main road by Repulse Bay for 15 mins) Highlights- Explore the eclectic market, mainly selling souvenirs, and the colourful village. Head for lunch at one of the many establishments along the coast. After exploring the market, head to Stanley Main Beach. Rating - 8/10 3. Address - St Stephen’s Beach (just a 15 min walk from Stanley) Highlights - much quieter than Stanley Main Beach with relaxing atmosphere, we practically had a private beach! This time we introduce you to a beach with relatively few people, St. Stephen's Beach in Stanley. How to get there You can take bus 14 and get off at Wong Ma Kok Trail and walk for 5 minutes, or there is a small parking lot where you can park by car. The beach is fully equipped with barbecue area, locker rooms and washrooms, and there is also a water activity center where you can play various water activities. Located in a corner of Stanley, St. Stephen's Bay faces southwest. During winter, the northeast monsoon is blocked by the hilltop, so on sunny days, it somewhat feels like summer. Transportation: Take Island Bus No. 14 and get off at St. Stephen's College Preparatory School, then walk for 5 minutes, or take other buses and get off at Stanley Village, then walk for 10 minutes.
