One of the destinations in Malacca is this place. It's quite high up with many steps on stairs; great exercise for hiking. From up there you can see beautiful side of Malacca town. There are many scriptures statues in foreign language. Those people who are interested in history should engage tour guide. One of the most historical and ironic place of Malacca is the ruins of St Paul’s Church which is located on top of a hill. The church was built in the 16th century and what’s left are the ruins and history of the place. Admission is free and since it is located on top of a hill, there are stairs to climb up so take note for those traveling with elderly or young children. Do go on a weekday to experience the quiet and serenity of the place as it can get pretty crowded on the weekends. The view on top is beautiful with views of the city and its port.
