I recently spent a few days in Birmingham and was pleasantly surprised! The weather was absolutely lovely for most of the trip – sunny with just a light breeze, perfect for walking around and exploring. The food scene is top-notch. From street food to proper restaurants, everything we tried was full of flavour and well-priced. We especially enjoyed some fantastic curries in the Balti Triangle – definitely a must-visit if you're a foodie! There’s also plenty to see and do – the canals, the Library of Birmingham, and the Jewellery Quarter were all highlights. A great mix of old and new, with some interesting cultural spots. One thing I hadn’t expected was how diverse the city is – it’s got a really international feel to it, which adds to the experience in many ways. If you’re after a traditional English vibe, just be aware it’s a bit different from smaller towns, but still very welcoming. All in all, a great city break – would happily visit again!
