St Martin's Cathedral is located in the historic old town of Bratislava at Rudnayovo namestie 1, on the way to the Bratislava Castle. It is around 400 meters 5 minutes walk from Michael's Gate and is open daily from 0900-1130 and 1300-1800. It is the largest and one of the oldest churches in Bratislava known especially for being the coronation church of the Kingdom of Hungary between 1563 and 1830. St Martin's 85 meters spire dominates the old town's skyline and the interior of the church is large with around 69 meters long and 23 meters wide, and has a total of four chapels. The Neolog Synagogue Memorial stood on the site adjacent to the St Martin's Cathedral until 1969, was demolished to make way for the construction of the SNP bridge. The current memorial that now stands was designed and built in 1996, there is a symbolic image of the synagogue on the marble wall and sculpture placed in the center.
