Hanoi Saint Joseph's Cathedral Vietnam❤️⛪
#vietnamtrip
The reason is that the important landmark in the center of Hanoi, Hanoi Saint Joseph's Cathedral, was built in 1886 and was inspired by the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. It is one of the oldest churches in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. When traveling to Hanoi, it is necessary to come here and take photos. There are many streets nearby, and you can enjoy the church architecture and street scenery while drinking in Kakuang County. Is it really beautiful?

Recommended day trip course in Hanoi, Vietnam!
Here are some hot recommendations for Hanoi, Vietnam travel courses!
Hanoi city center has more things to see and eat than you might think, so it's a city that you can enjoy in a day!
We started with Bun Cha as soon as we arrived, and tasted the Vietnamese condensed milk coffee, Sua Da, St. Joseph's Cathedral, and Hoan Kiem Lake, all famous Hanoi attractions in one day.
Here are some of the best courses I've recommended.
1. Bun Cha
Bun Cha is a very common food in Hanoi, so if there's a place that says Bun Cha on the sign, it's okay!
I've been to many Bun Cha restaurants in Hanoi, and I've never been disappointed. If you're not looking for a restaurant that caters to tourists, it's also good to try it at a restaurant with a local atmosphere!
That means Bun Cha is a dish that never fails...
2. St. Joseph's Cathedral
40 Nha Chung Hang Trong, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi 100000 Vietnam
This is a neo-Gothic cathedral built in 1886, and it's worth a visit. It is usually open, but tourists are not allowed to enter during certain times due to local prayer times, so I recommend checking before going!
3. Vietnamese Condensed Milk Coffee (Ca Phe Sua Da)
Condensed milk coffee is a must-drink when you come to Vietnam!
Coconut coffee is also famous, but I especially like condensed milk coffee…
And it was a bit hard to find Vietnamese condensed milk coffee in Korea.
Even people who don’t usually drink coffee because of its bitter taste can enjoy it!
4. Hoan Kiem Lake (Hoankiem River)
Hanoi 100000 Vietnam
The first lake that comes to mind when you think of Hanoi.
A great place to take a walk. Personally, it’s a really good place to take a walk after dinner rather than during the day!

🥰The Beautiful St.Joseph’s Cathedral🥰
🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings 🇻🇳
We visited the St.Joseph’s Cathedral on Nha Chung (Church) Street, it is the oldest Catholic church in Hanoi. It was very convenient to walk from the Old Quarter. This was one of the first structures built by the French colonial government in Indochina when it was first opened in December 1886 and completed in 1888. In spite of the long wars that destroyed major parts of Hanoi, St Joseph’s Cathedral is still in good condition. Today, it is a historical attraction in Hanoi which remains the image of the beauty of the old Hanoi. This Church makes an impression of the ancient beauty of Hanoi and it is definitely a must-visit sight!

A Stunning Vietnamese Cathedral!
Attraction name: St Joseph’s Cathedral
Location: Hanoi old quarter in the capital city of Vietnam.
St. Joseph Cathedral is a Catholic Church in the heart of Hanoi. The cathedral has lots of history and is beautiful inside and outside.
I recommend going to Godmother coffee shop because it’s beside the cathedral and you get stunning views of the cathedral from the second floor whilst sipping an iced coffee.

Hanoi
Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam,
It is also the cultural capital of Vietnam.
Temples and churches, ancient streets and theaters...
Strolling in Hanoi, discoveries everywhere.
The beauty of the fusion between the East and the West.
St. Joseph's Cathedral, the oldest Catholic church in Hanoi, has a Gothic architectural style that gives it a hint of the charm of Notre Dame de Paris. The exquisite stained glass inside the church is worth seeing, with each depicting a different biblical story. Hoan Kiem Lake, located in the center of Hanoi, is a great place for local residents to relax and play. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, the lakeside road turns into a huge open-air night market, where you can enjoy the lake view and taste roadside snacks. Water puppetry is a traditional stage play in Vietnam, with stories mostly drawn from folk life. Puppeteers need to stand underwater to manipulate the puppets, which is a great test of skill. The Thang Long Water Puppet Theater in Hanoi still offers the opportunity to enjoy such traditional drama.

Roman Catholic in Hanoi
St Joseph Cathedral is located at 40 Nha Chung Street, Hang Trong Ward near Hoan Kiem Lake. It is around 950 meters 12 minutes walk from Ly Thai To Monument.
The construction of St Joseph Cathedral took place from 1884 to 1887, and looks like a small simulation of Notre Dame de Paris. It had a length of 64.5 meters and a width of 20.5 meters. The facade consists of two square bell towers with a height of 31.5 meters and a big clock in the center, on top of it is the stone cross. In front of the church, there is a statue of Mother Maria made of copper and around are decorated with iron fences, flowers and trees.
The interior windows are fitted with colourful tall stained glass and high domes, around are pictures of Jesus Christ.

St. Joseph’s Cathedral #hanoivietnam
This is located in the old quarter. It’s in the city center. Amazing architecture gothic revival. It’s wonderful to see its vivid colors glimmering at night. It’s a must to visit this place.

This Cathedral in the middle of Hanoi is beautiful. The grounds are kept clean and tidy and the architect is amazing. Within the grounds there are murals and benches to sit out of the shade. Inside the Cathedral is stunning. The stations of the cross and the artwork on the ceiling is fantastic. I would ask people who visit to observe the holly sanctuary and follow the ruling on covering up.

St. Joseph's Cathedral is the largest church in Hanoi and is a neo-Gothic style of two spires. The interior of the church is beautifully decorated with beautiful stained glass. The exterior wall was originally constructed of black and white stone, which has been turned into black by corrosion and weathering. The bell tower of the church will ring the clock every hour, watching the church built like the Notre Dame de Paris, listening to the bells of the bell tower, can not help but remind people of the clock in the Notre Dame de Paris.
There is a school behind the church, but it is time for school, and many children are playing around the church. There is a wall painting behind the church. The wall painting is about the birth of the "Three Kings to the DPRK" story. It is said that when Jesus was born, a dazzling giant appeared in the sky above Bethlehem. When the stars flashed over Bethlehem, they were seen by three doctors in the East. The three doctors are saints and astrology. They know that this is the signal of the birth of the Savior. They ride camels, climb the mountains, desert, and wear plains. Follow the guidance of the stars and come to Bethlehem to find the Son Jesus to worship. . The
wall paintings are in place, but it has become a place to park motorcycles.

St. Joseph's Cathedral, also known as the Hanoi Cathedral, is the oldest church in Hanoi. It is said to be built like the Notre Dame de Paris. It has medieval style and is a representative of French architecture in Hanoi. It was built in 1886, it is a Neo-Gothic style.
Although the appearance seems a bit mottled, the main interior of the church, the stained-glass window, and the square tower are worth seeing. The church door will only open when mass is held. The rest of the time, visitors need to enter from the side door which is in the alley on the left side of the church.
Nha Tho Street, opposite the Nha Tho Lon & Around, is home to Hanoi's emerging boutique shops and cafes, plus traditional French architecture and large trees, where you can enjoy a bit of leisure and romance.

The St. Joseph's Cathedral in Hanoi is a landmark building. It travels from the south to the north. Nowadays, the most favorite is to spend the night at the Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the friendly exchanges and talk with the local people about the daily life.
Confucian Temple has become the art photo area of the local kindergarten-Dr. Yu, the Sino-Vietnamese has always been a source, this plaque is Kangxi personally mention.
This time I did not do the Raiders in advance, completely random walking down the street, relying on the network, always responding + casual, and the convenience and stability of Roaming Superman gave me a lot of help~

One day trip @ Hanoi.
Start your trip in Hanoi with a morning walk from your accommodation in November when the weather is pleasant and enjoyable, not too hot. Follow the map for about 10 minutes to reach the central lake with the red bridge, the first must-visit check-in spot. Then, walk a bit further to find St. Joseph's Cathedral, which is as beautiful as its reputation suggests. The city is easy to explore on foot, making it a great destination for a short trip. The food is delicious, and there are plenty of coffee shops with good prices. For those with limited time, this is a highly recommended trip. It's only a 2-hour flight from Bangkok.

Beautiful city that’s full of delicious local foods and friendly people in the city.
People also love the centre of Hanoi, around Hoan Kiem lake as its the most popular and arguably the greenest and vibrant part of the city. It’s packed with cultural lifestyle, and surrounded by many infamous places like the Hanoi Old Quarter, the Temple of Literature, the Ba Dinh district which is nearby, shops, night market, etc. The West lake also a popular part where you can find a lot of clubs and restaurants.

St Joseph Church Old Quarter Hanoi
This is my first time going to Hanoi Vietnam, and i little bit lost at this city. You know what? I accidentalIy found this church. #hanoi #oldquarter #stjosephschurch I entered through the side gate, and we were incredibly fortunate that it was still open when we visited in the afternoon. The moment we stepped inside, a sense of profound tranquility washed over us. The soft rustling of leaves, the gentle hum of distant conversations, and the warm sunlight filtering through the trees all combined to create an atmosphere that was both serene and uplifting. It felt as though time slowed down, allowing us to fully soak in the peaceful surroundings, making it a truly special and calming experience.
