Go around China in OCT 🤩

Shenzhen, historically known as Sham Chun which means deep drainage (literally), is ranked as the 6th most populous city in China referring to statistics for 2020-2021. We went to OCT (Overseas China Town), one of the most attractive areas for tourists. It's a very big park located next to the Windows of The World. OCT where we can see the miniature replica of some famous sites around China. We can just walk along and stop by to check the site one by one, the park also provides a ride if we get tired, it's not for free though. I think it's a good place to learn about Chinese history and culture, especially if you're accompanied by a travel guide that can explain about it. My friend said that would be good if we can stay until night for the night performance, sadly we need to leave earlier. Hopefully next time 😊 #chinatown #urbanexplorer

Splendid afternoon!

Myself and friends went to Splendid China for the day. It was a very hot day so we hired a buggy car (2 seater). Each car was 500RMB to hire but you were only allowed to take it out for 1 hour at a time, upon safe return of the vehicle we received 350RMB back- refunded. I would definitely recommend hiring the cart, even for an hour, particularly when doing around the miniature buildings of the great wall and the temples as it’s a long way to walk in the heat! After an hour we went in the boat ride (40RMB) , unfortunately we did crash into the wall (complete accident by the lady driving) 😂 but it was a nice 30 minute sit down, we got close to the waterfall which was nice to see. There wasn’t much to DO, more like things to SEE. If you’re looking for something to do on a cloudy day, I’d recommend going here once! #dayout #shenzhen #friends #themepark

I booked this experience having no idea what to expect but with a love of Chinese culture and also so many places on my list to visit here in China the ‘see all of China in one day’ convinced me and did not disappoint! I am a solo traveller but perfect for all! There is definitely something for everyone to enjoy and especially a good experience for kids to be immersed in the culture, (I’m sure it’s nothing like they’ve ever seen before!)
