#travelchecklist #100waysoftravel While I was traveling to Houston for my business trip, one of my checklist is to visit the NASA Space Centre, and I have really made it!!! The Space Centre at Houston is one of the three base where the space mission is conducted, and here they showcased the sample and prototype of the equipment and rocket they launched for the space mission. For instance, they showed you the entire Saturn V rocket where they launched during the several Apollo mission, and also the space aircraft they used to carry astronauts working at the space station. There is also the capsule which went to Moon and came back during the 17th Apollo Mission. Besides, you also get to experience zero gravity which is the working condition of astronauts. It is truly an amazing and precious experience which I will never forget it.

The Johnson Space Center, often referred to as JSC, was established in 1961 and has since been at the forefront of human spaceflight missions. JSC is also home to the Christopher C. Kraft Jr. Mission Control Center, named after the first NASA Flight Director. girlfriend treated me to an experience I’ll never forget. as an avid space nerd, this was perfect. than it is about history. To our amazement there was absolutely no mention of Dr. von Braun who was largely responsible for our success in space exploration. I thought I knew about space program, boy was I wrong. Learned fascinating details. Only hint is allow an entire day, we were told to allow 4 hours and after 8 hours we felt we still didn't see it all. #bucketlistreboot Fascinating place filled with an immense amount of knowledge and information! Whether you’re a space enthusiast or not, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy. The facility is neatly organized and laid out with various sections and areas. Additionally, maps and employees are everywhere to assist with navigating. Tickets are very reasonably priced and allows for free roam to choose what activities/exhibits you would like to visit. The only restriction is how much time you have to spare. They have 3 itinerary plans that corresponds to how much time you would like to stay there - 2 hours, 5 hours, 7+ hours. The choice is yours!

I personally enjoyed the Rocket Park tour. Seeing Mission Control and training components was fun. The exhibits are engaging and informative. I honestly feel it’s a great place to learn more about space exploration. A helpful tip would be to book tickets in advance and get early for Tram lines as it can get busy.

📅 I was on a business trip for three days and took a day off to explore Houston. Although I didn't have much time to explore, the food was amazing. 👍 The city is large and it's not convenient to take a taxi, so I recommend renting a car. 🚗 🏠 Accommodation: I don't recommend AC Marriot Downtown. The surrounding area is desolate and there are many homeless people in the downtown area. 😣 🌟 Attractions: - NASA Space Center: Make sure to arrive before 3 pm! ❗ This way, you can take the tram to the outdoor area. We arrived around 4 pm and missed all the shows and the tram. It was a painful lesson. 😅 - Waterfall Park: It's a bit simple, and there was no water inside when we visited. 💧 - Natural Science Museum: It has a lot of content and is great for kids. 👧 - If you plan to visit more than three attractions, the CityPASS is a great deal. It costs around $76 and is cheaper than buying individual tickets. 💰 🍔 Food: - Eunice: I recommend the shrimp etouffee. The Brussels sprouts and gumbo are also good. The health oyster is a bit greasy, but their bread dessert is amazing. It's a calorie bomb. 💣 - Truth BBQ: Highly recommended by local colleagues from Texas. 👍 The beef brisket is tender with a perfect balance of fat and lean meat. This is the most futuristic set of information kIhave had. It is one thing to have ideas of hear about things and then another to see those things in person and understand their functioning. A very impressive and informative space center. The kind of activity that one can visit multiple times and count on something new and updated in each visit. It's a pricey affair though, I mean it's worth it but not the cheapest when you come in a family group of 7. Also, the whole tram thing is slow. Be sure to purchase tickets online. It is chepar that way and also get the tram tickets. You have to give the space center a minimum two hours to see it through. Keep in mind the tram shuts down at around 3. NASA space centre was amazing — had a lot of fun with my friends just enjoying the exhibition and learning more about space expeditions. very family friendly and would recommend going in spring or fall… summer was way too hot and we were sweating all the way. bought houston city pass ($78) for entry to 5 attractions, including space centre which is so worth!!!! definitely a bang for the buck. #houston

Space center Houston is an amazing place to explore and learn about space science and the missions they do! They have been adding more and more events to make it the experience better. It’s not expensive at all to explore it! Just remember - in addition to the ticket, you’re supposed to pay for parking too. Once inside - you can either enjoy a ton of free experiences or pay for select events.

Although not a hardcore fan of aerospace, I still feel that there is a lot to learn about space at NASA. I visited almost all the routes in one day, from the daily food of astronauts to the control center, and even the training facility and equipment for the next moon landing are open for visits. If given the chance, I would go again as I feel there is still more to learn and understand.
