The scenery was so memorable that I didn't even have to take a picture. The promenade was well-maintained, so it was easy to walk, and there were benches here and there, so I could sit and leisurely look at the sea. There were also quiet cafes and bars nearby, so I felt like I was healing without doing anything if I had a takeout coffee and sat down to watch the sunset. Maybe because Yantai is a city that isn't noisy, it was quiet overall at night, and I didn't feel dangerous or uncomfortable. When the sun completely sets, the lights of the ocean and the city come together, and the soft glow is not irritating to the eyes, but rather gives a more calming feeling. When I look at the ocean that naturally continues from sunset to night view, I feel like all my complicated thoughts disappear, so it was the perfect course to end the day.

The sand is covered in seashells that are so fascinating to look at while walking along the beach shore and listening the sound of waves. For tourists it’s very easy to get to by taxi.
