It is right in front of the Chao Phraya River, so it is fun to visit by taking a free ferry. It is large in size and the interior is luxurious, and it feels like it is floating on the river. When you go inside, the concept is divided by area, and you can see all kinds of famous franchises. There are so many things to see, from shopping to restaurants and cafes, that you can easily spend half a day! In particular, Sook Siam on the first basement floor is operated as an indoor floating market concept. It is cleaner and has a variety of food than an actual floating market. It is said that it was created so that you can enjoy the atmosphere and food without having to travel to other regions by gathering representative items from 77 provinces across Thailand. There are many shopping malls in Bangkok, but IconSiam was overwhelmingly the best! Located on the ground floor of the large upmarket Iconsiam, a recreated street market that is so well done it feels authentic. This is a food market paradise, with the ground floor packed with all kinds of delicious food. It was an absolute sensory overload of colours, aromas and delicious food. It's all great and visually stunning. There’s nothing pretentious about the authenticity of the food, snacks and handicrafts sold here. The vendors are carefully selected from among the thousands across Thailand’s various floating markets and provinces to set up shop here – simply put, they are the best. We struggled to find a few food outlets to keep ourselves from overeating, but to no avail as the choices were literally endless! Sample "safe" street food, pick up some handmade souvenirs, and enjoy a simulated "indoor floating market" This is a must-go if you want to try Thai food but don't want to pay restaurant prices. Bangkok Thailand is always a great place for family trips and this is the viral pancake at Iconsiam. D Bake is on the same level as Sook Siam but their stall is located at Takashimaya area. You can choose between Pandan or Thai milktea flavour but it is better you buy both and try it. You have to eat it hot and there are plenty of seating areas right outside the stall too. These waffles are so crispy and they are not the usually waffles style. At the bottom of Icon Siam mall is Sook Siam, a food court designed to look and feel like a floating market. There is tons of food - the prices are a bit higher compared to some other mall food courts, but the design of the space and the ambience make it worth the visit. There was also a traditional Thai dance show taking place when we visited, so you can enjoy some entertainment while eating. Getting There - We took the bts darj green line from the city center the national stadium all the way to sathorn Pier. From the bts station we walk less than five minites to the free shuttle service rhat takes us directly across the river to the center of Sook Siam. Attractions - As you can the on the first picture one of the main attractions is the incredible size of the shopping mall with huge screens that deliver you the latest technology. Getting There - We took the bts from the center and then the free shuttle boat to cross the river all the way to Icon Siam. Once you arrive with the boat you drop straight into the middle of Sooksiam. Attractions - There are so many different shops that sell all kind of food. As you can see on the picture they even sell fried scorpions and crocodile meat. Many vendors are located on the indoor floating market that looks very beautiful Hotels - There are many 5 star hotels in the area Food & Restaurants - The food options are insane. You can try the food at many places. Shopping - Next floor there are many Shops

SOOKSIAM is a streetfood inspired foodcourt which is location in the famous ICONSIAM shopping centre which is really popular with Singaporeans! I was feeling peckish after a whole day of walking around in Bangkok. I was very impressed by the amount of vendors that were selling their food in the basement of a mall! It took the chaos of street side dining away, leaving you with just the food for you to savour. It was a refreshing concept! Do come with an empty stomach! I ordered pork knuckle and a corn dog which was delicious and very affordable with a price from SGD2-3! The vendors were so friendly and I would definitely be back for more food. At Sook Siam, you can get all delicious street food in clean and air-conditioned environment. Naturally, you will wish for a clean toilet. When you are at Iconsiam, the toilets are your least concern because the toilets are clean and there are always toilet attendants around. The toilet theme at Sook Siam is about water barrels and so you have a barrel as your water basin to wash hands. All the walls are also decorated and there are tester products in the toilets as well. The retail shops will place their items in the toilet for you to test. 4days 3nights at thailand. I spent a night at Kanchanaburi. To be honest, it was better to do a day trip only at Kanchanaburi. Since there were so much things to do in Bangkok. Loved all foods in Bangkok! - Samat Muslim Food at Pratunam deserved infinity rating out of 10. - Cafe Amazon - SookSiam market at IconSiam - Pratunam Market - Chatuchak Weekend Market - Platinum Mall - Central World - Easy bus, train, tuktuk, taxi All affordables. All loves. I stayed at Kanchanaburi City hotel. Recommended. This hotel is walking distance to Jeath War Museum, Railway station Namtok-Thonburi line to Bangkok. Can get food at downtown area ie: JJ night market. Stayed 2 days at Cubic Pratunam Hotel. Also recommended. 10minutes walk to Pratunam Night Market, Platinum Mall, Phaya Thai station subway. Many massage centers all around the hotel. Got 7E convenience store next to the hotel. Easy catch to grab/tuktuk/motor taxi if you dont want to walk.

Following the previous problems, the tourism industry was hit hard. Bangkok did not have an earthquake budget, so most buildings were not earthquake-proof. It was terrifying to see many buildings shaking. I am so grateful that there was no earthquake last week 🙏🙏🙏! There are so many delicious foods in this floating market, of course some are cheap and some are expensive. My aunt and I only bought fruit juice drinks because we have a tight schedule so we will leave as soon as possible!

#MarchTravelSupportEvent I went to a restaurant that sells khao soi inside IconSiam SookSiam. The name of the restaurant is Khao soi Lamduan! It's also a Michelin-starred restaurant, and most importantly, there was a seat, so I went there. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's not easy to find a seat in SookSiam... I bought khao soi and sausage, and the sausage was really spicy. I tried khao soi for the first time, and it's a curry-flavored soup with noodles. The curry flavor was pretty good, right? It was really soft, and the noodles inside were easy to swallow, so it was good! #ThailandTravel

📍Suksiam This is a place that recreates a floating market located underground in IconSiam! It's a great place to enjoy a traditional Thai fish market in the city regardless of the weather. You can enjoy street food and souvenir shopping at once here.
