Songtsam Shangri-La is amazing! The Tibetan style is stunning!
🌟Highlights:
Staying at Songtsam is more comfortable than going home. Amazing!
Green Valley is next to Songzanlin Monastery, and it has a quiet and peaceful power. I love this Tibetan-style building, with prayer flags, Buddha statues, thangkas, Tibetan carpets, and distant temples, all of which make me feel calm.
Songtsam Shangri-La Green Valley
The hotel is said to be built on the founder's ancestral home, where Songtsam started, so it is especially precious. The rooms are bright and have a sense of stability, and the bedding is comfortable. There is a restaurant, bar, and library, which are suitable for a short vacation and relaxation.
I stayed in a deluxe king room for 2 nights, which was expensive but worth it.
Songzanlin Monastery tickets, airport transfer, breakfast, goodnight drinks, Songtsam Museum visit, afternoon tea~~ The cars are Land Rovers and Mercedes-Benz, and the drivers are Tibetans, who are very attentive and provide snacks and mineral water. The view from the window is open, and the most beautiful view of the temple is your window view, so you don't have to search for it.
The service is excellent.
The butler service is well-deserved, with the unique shyness, simplicity, and thoughtfulness of the Tibetan people. I even like to hear their Mandarin with an accent. You can also book experiences such as thangka, meditation, hiking, camping afternoon tea, and off-road vehicles. There are many Tibetan artifacts, which are worth seeing to learn about Tibetan culture, including thousand-year-old Shakyamuni Buddha statues and thangkas.
They even gave me 2 tickets to Songzanlin Monastery. I didn't even notice that they gave me tickets when I placed the order. What a pleasant surprise!
Songzanlin Monastery is a must-see, with a history of over 400 years. The "Little Potala Palace" is only 2 minutes away from the hotel. Dukezong Ancient Town, Moonlight City, and the Tea Horse Road. Napa Lake, to see the wetland grassland landscape and feel the vast wind.
