The Songshan Anti-Japanese War Site is located in Longling County, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province. It was rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction in 2019. There are 69 existing sites, 816 relics, and a defense line of 13,200 meters. It is one of the relatively intact World War II sites. Among them, the Chinese Expeditionary Force Sculpture Group covers a total area of 17,400 square meters, consisting of 12 different squares, with a total of 402 statues, implying that the Chinese Expeditionary Force went abroad to Burma to fight against the Japanese invaders in 1942. The tombstone of the Chinese Expeditionary Force Cemetery is the tombstone of the fallen soldiers of the 103rd Division of the Eighth Army, which was erected by the division commander Xiong Shouchun for the dead soldiers. Daorenping was the training position of the Japanese army. It was from here that tunnels were dug to blow up enemy bunkers. There were two passages leading to Zigaodi. The main peak Zigaodi was the core position of the Japanese Songshan stronghold. The bullet holes on the witness tree are still vivid, with scars everywhere, but it still stands stubbornly, as if it was left there on purpose to remind future generations not to forget history and the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country.
