Tour of Songgwangsa Temple in Suncheon, one of Korea's three major temples
#Travel itinerary
📍Do you know where the three major temples in Korea are?
Haeinsa Temple in Hapcheon, Tongdosa Temple in Yangsan, and Songgwangsa Temple in Suncheon
📍It's great to visit Suncheon Bay Ecological Park or Nakan-eupseong Fortress in Suncheon! But if you want to feel the temple or traditional Korean atmosphere, I recommend going to Songgwangsa Temple in Suncheon!
📍There is no separate admission fee, so you can come and go freely, and you don't have to walk too far from the parking lot, and the path is well-maintained, so it's good for a light walkㅎㅎ
📍There were quite a few buildings that looked like they had been renovated or built not too long ago, but they were actually clean and nice? I thought the trees would be prettier when the flowers bloomed in the spring, and the bridge across the water had a really pretty atmosphere, but I didn't take a separate pictureㅜ
📍There was a dolmen site nearby, so I went in, but it wasn't managed separately, so I don't recommend paying the 3,000 won entrance fee to go in,,
📍For reference, I stopped by Songgwangsa Temple in Suncheon on my way back home from Gwangju, and had a very fulfilling day trip:)
