1. Xi'an City Wall
The Xi'an City Wall, also known as the Xi'an Ming City Wall, is a Ming Dynasty construction with a total length of 13.7 kilometers. It was built in the third year of the Hongwu reign (1370) of the Ming Dynasty and completed in the eleventh year of Hongwu (1378). It was constructed on the foundation of the imperial city of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, under the policy of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty, which advocated 'building high walls, storing abundant provisions, and claiming kingship slowly.' Subsequently, Zhu Yuanzhang conferred the title of King of Qin on his second son, Zhu Su, making the city both a feudal stronghold and the seat of the prefectural government, hence the grand and sturdy scale of the city walls. After repeated repairs and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it is still well-preserved today.
2. The Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses (Terracotta Army)
The Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses, also known as the Terracotta Army or Qin Terracotta Warriors, is a burial pit accompanying the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, forming the Museum of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor together with the tomb. The Terracotta Army is known as the 'Eighth Wonder of the World.' The more than a thousand soldier and horse terracotta figures unearthed here, each with a different appearance and vivid expression, are a shining pearl in the history of ancient Chinese sculpture and have been hailed as 'one of the great discoveries in the history of archaeology in the twentieth century.'
