Tokyo Itinerary | One-day tour of Odaiba and Azabudai
#TokyoItinerary
🌟Go to Odaiba in the morning🌟
Odaiba, whose name "Odaiba" means fort, originated from the coastal defense facilities built in the 19th century to deal with the American "black ships". Today, it has become a popular destination for Tokyo residents and international tourists. Odaiba offers a mix of shopping, dining, futuristic attractions and museums, all within walking distance. It is easily accessible from central Tokyo by taking the Yurikamome or Rinkai Line.
🌟Check in at the Statue of Liberty🌟
The iconic Statue of Liberty in Odaiba, Tokyo, is a detailed replica of the famous statue in New York and symbolizes the deep friendship between Japan and France. The statue, erected in 1998 to commemorate Franco-Japanese relations, was unexpectedly popular and has been retained as a result. Although only one-seventh the size of the New York original, Tokyo's Statue of Liberty is still unique. In addition, there is a similar statue in Osaka and Shimada, Japan, which together present this symbol of cross-border friendship.
🌟Overlooking the Rainbow Bridge🌟
You can see the Rainbow Bridge from Odaiba Seaside Park in Tokyo. The park features several viewing points, perfect for visitors to get a glimpse of the beautiful Rainbow Bridge. Especially at dusk, the Rainbow Bridge under the setting sun is particularly charming, becoming a popular spot for photography enthusiasts. In addition, visitors can stroll along the pedestrian walkway on the Rainbow Bridge and enjoy the views of Tokyo Bay and Odaiba. The south side walkway mainly offers views of Odaiba, while the north side walkway features views of high-rise buildings in downtown Tokyo.
🌟Go to Azabudai Hills in the afternoon🌟
In November 2023, Tokyo welcomed a new landmark - Azabudai Hills. Its core building, "Mori JP Tower", won the title of Japan's tallest building with an astonishing height of 330 meters. This 64-story skyscraper not only breaks the record for Japan's tallest building, but also, due to its unique geographical location, allows visitors to see the Tokyo Tower at eye level on the top floor, and overlook the Tokyo Skytree and Rainbow Bridge. Climbing up to the observation deck on the 33rd floor, the Tokyo Tower seems to be within reach. In the evening, the setting sun and the fiery red of the tower complement each other, casting a romantic veil over the night of Tokyo.
