Skinnarviksparken is a park with a great observation deck that offers a panoramic view of downtown Stockholm and the Stockholm River. It's about a 30-40 minute walk from Gamla Stan, the old town of Stockholm, so it's a good place to walk. It's a steep climb and the ground is rocky, so I recommend wearing sneakers. Sunset time in Sweden in December is around 2 PM, so I went there around 2 PM and waited, and I was able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Since it's winter, the river wind blows strongly, so please make sure to keep warm. The sunset is beautiful, but the view of downtown Stockholm from the hill, sparkling in the sunlight just before sunset, was truly spectacular. The open view is refreshing.
